Tasked with keeping the peace between this world and the netherworld, The Order was founded to breed only the fittest to take up this mantle of responsibility. Supernatural warriors, dating all the way back to the time of Christ, moving forward through the night with a single directive: Protect both the humans and thr others, at any cost. This allowed The Order to have the freedom to sacrifice whatever they had in their disposal to make sure that the treaty between humans and monsters was never violated openly, with delegations and ambassadors sent to and fro as a cultural exchange between the two communities.

But what happens when an uprising of monsters, aggressively pursuing their beliefs of superiority, threatens the already fragile balance established? Why, they must be exterminated of course. And that's where you come in. The Star pupil, the pride of years of culmination of the most rigorous training known to man, developed through trial and error, corrected by the deaths of those considered gods then and even now.

You are the sole survivor of a tragedy that took place so many years ago, the only one spared. Gifted with powers beyond what was "normal", you are considered to be the next savior that will restore the broken trust between the species, the catalyst of everlasting peace.

And you're going to need ever ounce of that strength to keep your charge in line. Because what better way to kill monsters than to set one on them? Locked in the depths of The Orders Vault is the most dangerous monster of all, one rumored to have warred with God Himself and his armies, losing only because fate had decided so and not because he wasn't strong enough. He obeys no master but respects strength and fortitude. He is contracted to be your familiar, as you are the only other known individual to have the willpower to control such a thing besides the Son. You and him, the two of you, have been given your mission and all the leisure freedom to operate as preferred with whatever would help.
