Throughout the universe there are thousands of different planets all containing millions of creatures and beings. They were all rather separate from each other, there wasn't much interaction between the planets and everything was peaceful that way. But everything changed when Destro appeared.
Destro is a planet, a very large one and one that, for some strange reason, is able to float freely around space as if someone were driving it. No one knew about Destro until it began to surface and invade other planets. It started out only being one invasion, but then more and more. So many planets were invaded and taken over, the beings living on those planets killed or enslaved. Soon, everyone knew of this Destro planet and everyone feared it. It didn't take long before aliens began trying to leave their invaded planets. Not many are able to escape without Destro finding out, but there are a few and those few always flee towards a certain planet that seems to not gain Destro's attention. That planet is Earth.
Welcome to Earth. You must hide your alien form or else people might come after you. Even on Earth you're not completely safe. Don't worry, almost every planet has some sort of technology that allows you to configure a new form for yourself. Now stay safe and enjoy your new home.
Rules:
- The basics, be nice, no er*t*c roleplay, just keep this roleplay as clean as possible please.
- You may have up to two characters
- No OP characters or roleplaying and please do not control other's characters
- I will be controlling the major events and villains.
- You may come from any planet you wish, but no canon aliens, just OCs
- I don't want any demon or angel type aliens please. Be creative with your aliens
- No one-liners, give everyone something to work with. At least four to five sentences.
- Try to be active, I get that life comes first but we will continue the story without you if you're gone for more than a day. But don't worry, you can still rejoin when you come back and I'll be happy to update you on any progress.
- You can play a human character if you wish, though I don't want any half-human, half-aliens please

Name: Swakoski (Swag) Canilan

How long have they been on Earth: New to Earth
Personality: Swag, as he calls himself, is very upbeat and happy. He’s playful, cheerful and very curious and likes making others around him feel the same though often comes off as a little strange. Swag is rather naïve and not very smart, so he relies on others a lot and will often ask silly questions that have no relevance to anything. He’s very friendly and loves making friends. He has no shame in speaking to strangers. Due to his species being rather cat-like, Swag will purr if ever hugged or pet or something like that. He’s very impulsive and emotional meaning his emotions often drive what he decides to do, and he doesn’t think before acting. Swag enjoys action and hates it when people regard him as being weak or useless and won’t let him fight or join in with something because of it. He also dislikes when people disregard his emotions or don’t take him seriously as usually, he’s the comic relief type person so others don’t really take him for real when he actually feels something negative; Swag just wants someone to talk to in his negative times. He doesn't understand many human customs and will often get them wrong.
Powers/abilities/skills: Swag is very small and hence, is very quick on his feet. He has a special amulet that grants him powers such as flight and the ability to manifest any handheld weapon out of the energy around him, though no firearm weapons. Swag is not very physically strong. The Catagans, his species, has a unique ability to not need sleep for longer periods of time than normal life beings, though due to Swag’s abilities using up energy, he does become tired quicker.
Backstory: Swag grew up in a quaint little village of Catagans. There he lived with his family, siblings and friends. The village was small enough for everyone to know everyone. Swag was thought of to be someone special as the colour of his fur, hair and eyes were odd and not like the others. This is how he gained the nickname, Swag, as the word for the Catagans meant someone or something different and special. He wasn’t teased for his differences though, in fact people liked it. Life was normal for the Catagans until the fateful day Destro arrived. The village wasn’t at all prepared for the attack, so it ended in tragedy. Swag was told to run away and that they would follow him. Swag was able to get out safely, only realising after he’d run away that his family didn’t follow him. Once the attack was over, Swag made his way back to his village only to find it completely destroyed. No one else made it out alive, only Swag remained. While searching in the rubble of his fallen home, Swag found a special amulet. It was an amulet that was passed down from family to family every few years and it was the only thing still intact after the attack. Fuelled by anger, Swag used the amulet to fly to Destro and attack, though he didn’t get far. He didn’t think through the plan as he was swiftly captured and locked up. For a while he’d lost hope in everything but eventually started talking to the guard outside his cell, Gringuard. He got to know a little about him, including the fact that Gringuard wasn’t happy with where he was. Unlike all the other Destreans, Gringuard seemed to actually have some good in him. It didn’t take too long before Swag began talking to Gringuard on a daily basis and eventually the two were able to escape with the help of Gringuard’s uncle and two other Plutonians, Cotaz and Featherine. They went back to Plutonia and then escaped to Earth where they now live.
Alien Appearance: Image below + Swag is only 4ft tall in both of his forms.
Human Appearance: Swag never really understood human appearances, so when choosing his form he chose to have very dark skin with bright ginger curly hair and pinkish-brown eyes. His face is covered in freckles and he wears simple clothing; a bright, pastel pink button up shirt with brown pants rolled up at the ankles and bright pink shoes.

How long have they been on Earth: New to Earth
Personality: Cotaz suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder which causes him to act irrationally sometimes. He will lash out at anything that angers him, he doesn’t understand basic communication skills or social cues and will sometimes have periods of depression. He also finds it hard to make and keep friends because of this, even though he really wants to. Other than that, Cotaz is very loyal to the friends he’s able to keep and very responsible. He acts kind of like a father to Swag, one of his friends, and will protect him no matter what. He always tries to do what’s best for everyone, even if it means Swag won’t particularly like him for a little while. It’s rare to see Cotaz smile or give any sort of affection to anyone besides defending them and talking to them, even then he doesn’t talk too much. Cotaz doesn’t like talking about his feelings as he’s afraid of them and so, to keep them in check, he tends to try and stay as serious and neutral as possible though he can’t keep the act up forever. This doesn’t mean Cotaz is never happy, he just doesn’t show his happiness too often but he’s content with simply being around the few friends he still has.
Powers/abilities/skills: Cotaz is very powerful, though doesn’t know the extent of his abilities just yet. He has the ability to turn anything he touches into gold as well as summoning golden rings from the one in his chest. The rings can be used as throwing weapons or can be straightened out to form a spear. Cotaz also has large wings that he uses to fly. Unfortunately, due to how he received his powers, his body is rather weak and frail and he isn’t fully trained in his skills either. Though he can fight, he doesn’t have much skill in it. Also, with his BPD and his random emotional spurts, Cotaz’s powers can become unpredictable.
Backstory: Cotaz was born within the Alpine city. A large city filled with Alpines, beings who all look the same. There really isn’t much to differentiate one from the other besides their personalities. Every Alpine has the same features, for males, short pure white hair with pure white skin and dark brown eyes and for females, long pure white hair, pure white skin and bright blue eyes. When Cotaz was younger he would always question this and wish that he could look different from everyone else but as he got older, he became used to his appearance and didn’t mind looking like everyone else. Unfortunately, Cotaz’s father still thought his son wanted to look different, or at least used that idea as an excuse to go searching for something known as, The Golden Ring. An ancient relic used by an Alpine called the Dark Alpine. Everyone just thought it was a myth, including Cotaz, but one day, his father found it. The ring was told to give power and riches to whoever welded it to themselves, though it could also prove dangerous and deadly to those who attempted to do so. With the love of money and power on his mind, Cotaz’s father decided to use his own son as the subject. He was blinded by his desires and forced Cotaz to get the ring welded into his chest. Cotaz resisted of course, but he couldn’t stop it. The ring was burned into his chest and he was granted the powers promised. Cotaz’s father was thrilled and then wanted to force Cotaz into doing his bidding, he wanted to take over the city and rule it as the most powerful and richest man but now that Cotaz had power, he resisted his father and fled, not wanting anyone to see him like that. Though it wasn’t his fault, Cotaz was still ashamed of what his father had turned him into and for a long while he spent his time simply wandering until one day, he bumped into a few Destreans who were scouting out the area for an attack. Without knowing what he was doing, Cotaz fought against the scouts. He lost, but he luckily wasn’t killed and after that, he knew the only thing he could really do now that he was different was to embrace it. He still hated what he’d become, but at least now he could help people with it and that’s exactly what he did, his first mission, saving Swag and Gringuard with the help of a Plutonian named Featherine. After the rescue mission they fled to Earth in order to keep safe from Destreans.
Alien Appearance: Image below + Cotaz is very tall and slender, about 6’1.
Human Appearance: In his human form Cotaz has very pale skin and white-blond hair, part of which is tied back into a rather small tail. He has bright blue eyes and wears a white, turtleneck jumper with white pants and shoes. Very minimalist.

(Okay, I'm going to start this and people are allowed to join in whenever they wish)
Cotaz pushed through the door, quite a few bags in his hands. He'd just been out discovering the shopping centres and gathering food for himself and the others. It proved useful that Cotaz was able to turn anything he touched to pure gold. Not to mention the small note with a 50 printed on it that he found under a rock. He later found out it was the currency used on Earth,
"I'm back," Cotaz stated blunted, placing the bags on the small bench in front of the kitchen. They didn't have a very big home as no one would offer them anything bigger than the one they got. Luckily, Cotaz and Gringuard were both considered eligible adults on Earth so they were allowed to purchase a small home. A quaint little house with a kitchen and lounge in one room, a single bedroom and a bathroom. It was all they could get, but it sufficed.
Suddenly, as soon as Cotaz got to the kitchen, he was met with the cheerful face of a small boy, Swag.
"Cotaz! What happened? What was Earth like?" Swag asked, his eyes already widening with curiosity about the new world they lived in.
"Busy... noisy... crowded... anything else you want to know?" Cotaz answered, not unkindly but bluntly and somewhat melancholy.
"That will do," Swag said, knowing he wasn't going to get much else out of him. He then began ravaging through the bags to see what he could find. Cotaz really didn't know what to buy, so he just got a bunch of random food items he saw the humans buying, hoping they would be good.

"Gringuard, look! Look at all the weird food!" Swag exclaimed, showing Gringuard a box of cereal. Of course he didn't know what it was, but he liked that it came in a box.
"Well... there was the lady that... I think she scanned the items for some reason... she spoke to me," Cotaz said. He didn't usually talk to anyone outside of his friend group as he was afraid of rejection or, like what has happened to him many times before, afraid of building a friendship only for it to come crumbling down due to his emotional disorder. He always found it hard to keep friendships, but once he met Swag, Gringuard and Featherine he knew he could at least keep a few, and he was content with that.

(I'm going to time skip to the next day, which will be Monday so our characters can interact at school)
After all the food had been put away, dinner had been eaten and makeshift beds... aka mats on the floor, were set up, it was time for the four to go to sleep. The next day would be Swag and Featherine's first day school and Swag was very excited for it.
Morning quickly rose and Cotaz was up to watch it. He always loved watching it rise, after all, it was rather similar to the one on Plutonia. He watched as the stars faded and the sky brightened as the sun came out from it's hiding place.
Swag was also up rather early. Not early enough to see the light appear but not that much later. He was too excited to do anything but start preparing for school. Of course he wasn't sure how to, but he figured having breakfast would be a good start. He ran to the kitchen, climbed onto the counter and pulled out the cardboard box he'd found earlier from the top cupboard. Opening it he found many small flecks of what he guessed was food, so he poured it into a bowl and ate.

Swag was very fast to finish the cereal pellets. He didn't mind the taste, they weren't as good as some things he used to eat back on Plutonia but they were good. Swag, being rather open minded about living on Earth, would try pretty much everything just to really understand what Earth was about.
"Harro, Featherine," Swag greeted his friend who just sat by him, his mouth still stuffed with some of the cereal pellets, "I can't believe we get to go to school." he sounded unnaturally happy to go to school for a fifteen year old.
Swag didn't know what to do with his bowl so he left it on the counter and went to grab his bag. It was a simple plastic shopping bag since he had nothing else. Luckily, the day before, Cotaz had researched all he could about school and determined Swag and Featherine needed stuff for school. Once he was packed, the cat-like boy was ready for school and was quick to get out the door, hoping Featherine was behind him.
