Cylie - Jul 20th 2019 11:21

Clary woke up as the sun rose the next morning, it's light shining on her through the window, disturbing her sleep. She shifted slightly and happened her eyes. Even though it hadn't been much she felt a little bit better after eating earlier. She partially sat up having to lean back against the wall to keep from falling as she got dizzy from the movement. Clary brought a timid hand to her head and winced softly as she looked around. She didn't know where she was, but already it was so much better than anywhere she'd been before. She saw the glass of water and the fruit left for her and took deep, slow breath before she moved to edge of the bed to take the cup in shaky hands and lift it to her lips. She took a sip, a drop of water spilling down her chin. Clarissa closed her eyes, taken aback by the instant relief at having the water. She took another sip and another and was slightly disappointed when she finished it and the glass was empty.

Feeling a bit better than the night before Clarissa was a tiny bit nervous now. She'd never met this male before yesterday as far as she could remember, and she wasn't really sure who he was or why he'd moved her and given her these things. Overall she just wasn't accustomed to other showing her any sort of kindness and it was slightly off putting. So she turned away ever so slightly and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Umm. . . Yes." She said, her voice soft as she mumbled her words slightly, "Good morning." She put the glass down and sat back still a bit dizzy, "who. . . Who are you?" She asked quietly

"Soul." She said the name slowly, "Thank you. . ." She looked up at him through her lashes as she kept her head slightly tilted down. "My brother used to call me Clarissa, but the white coats never did. You can if you'd like to." She murmured softly her brown gaze drifting to the fruit left for her, "um. . . Is that for me?" She asked timidly pointing to it.

Clary nodded, "if it isn't too much trouble." She said and leaned back, resting her head against the wall. She still didn't feel great and was a bit dizzy but at least it was tolerable now. With a heavy sigh she closed her eyes and ran a hand through her tangled brown hair trying in vain to tame the mess of curls.

Name: EC;MK-01 otherwise known as Endocorp's Mark 1 or simply; Kilo

Age: Biological aging disposed of. Real age under strict disclosure, taken into Endocorp's Cyber Initiative project as an infant.

Gender: Male

Status: Pre-apocalypse Spy/Soldier - Currently, missing primary directive - Survivor

Appearance: Approximately 6'1'' feet tall, weighing over 168 kilograms, due to the raw material used in his enahcnements. Loss of pigment overall, resulting in extremely pale skin and colorless/silver hair.

His outer frame consists of plain polymer/carbon/titanium steel plates and parts that give shape to his exoskeleton. As his outer frame is rigged into his live flesh and bones - he is unable to take it off, unless serviced by a professional.

Weilds a high frequency blade, in a shape of a japanese sword, otherwise known as 'Katana'.

Personality: He is often blunt and unapproachable and he has a strong respect for structure and discipline. This makes him uneasy to be around

Backstory: When Kilo was introduced, he was a member of an American special forces unit known as ENDOSAF. As the story progresses, it is revealed that he was trained primarily through virtual reality and has little, if any, actual combat experience prior to the Big Outbreak mission. Further into the story, it comes to light that after the death of his parents, Kilo fought in the American Civil War as a child soldier in Endocorp's 'voulenteer' tactical unit, where his outstanding kill record earned him the nicknames "Mockmachine" and "White Devil". After the conclusion of that conflict, he disappeared from the relief camp and emerged years later working for ENDOCORP itself. During that time, it is suggested that his memory was erased using neural implants.

- '' * * Field scan; Complete. Updating Waypoints. * * ''

The programmed, somewhat female sounding voice rang through Kilo's ears as he glared at the rundown city from a vantage point. The sound of his breaths was inaudible, and the soft clicking of the hardware in his temples was as precise as a metronome.

- '' * * Critical threat; identified. Objectives updated.* * ''

The voice rang again and his visor clicked, strobing momentarily with piercing red light. He gazed below, noticing a ragged up figure, as pale as death - its arms covered in crimson.

Infected.

But was he 'really' a threat? Seemingly innocent, walking around, uncoordinated. Infected were driven insane, and therefore posed an immense danger to any healthy survivor out there.

- '' * * Primary systems; re-routed. Clear to proceed. * * ''

And just like that, as the automated voice went silent, Kilo dropped down from the ledge, withdrawing the high-frequency blade from the locked sheathe that was attached to his back. As he glided through the air, dropping good five meters - he automatically flipped the blade, it's razor-sharp tip aiming downwards.

And it resulted in a clean kill.

With a very loud thud, he drove the entirety of the blade through the nape - as well as the entire back of the infected below. His immense weight pinned him down, like pin to paper. It almost sounded like a steel construction hitting on concrete.

And it rang through the desolate streets.

...

Kilo withdrew the blade from the corpse below, slashing emptily through the air - removing the sickly darkened blood off its surface.

He looked around. And the automated voice spoke once again.

- '' * * Corrosive agents; isolated. Re-routing primary power systems. Multiple contacts. * * ''

He glared ahead, his visor dimming down as his systems detected two more unidentified life-forms in the building ahead.

(my one request would be that kilo is made a bit more. . . . Well, human. In past rps he's been a bit op and I'd like to see what would happen if he were a tad bit more vulnerable this time around! Thanks!)
