We are both dogs, living with our very loving humans. Something happens (we can discuss that) and we get picked up by animal control. Our humans can't get us back, so other people adopt us, but they don't end up being very nice people. Eventually we get taken again, more like rescued, from those horrible people and taken to a shelter, adopted by different people each, we get split up and try to find each other, running away multiple times, going back to the old house, where our first humans no longer live, anything, to find each other again. Maybe we will get found and find out forever home together. Maybe we will run the streets.

(I need a male for this role, we can be any breed of dog)
