((Character sheet in my blog))

Kiazer knelt down using his knife to move some of the fallen leaves, he studied the tracks he had been following for almost a week. He frowned and looked around. He then looked up and smirked, He started walking toward the mountains and then stopped and crouched. He took out a throwing knife and held it up steadily and then threw it striking his prey in the ribs. Trailing behind as it ran off Kiazer soon came across a fallen labor breathing bear. He walked around as it grunted and tried to move but no luck. He knelt down near its head and took out another knife. Doing away with the bears life source he said the prayer his father had told him. After the deed was done Kiazer quickly went to work making a fire and getting ready to skin and do his normal preparations for the transfers.

A few hours later he had all the meats portioned and some drying over the camp fired and was working on a temporary tent and bed. He heard a snap from a foot step and swung round “Whose there?” he asked grabbing his knife and ready to protect his kill and life.

(Hope this is still open)

Quickly, his body moved behind the tree, hidden from view. Though the damage had been done; the man knew he was there. There was no way of escape. The man he saw for that brief moment looked much bigger, stronger and faster than him. But, if he showed himself, surely the man would kill him. After all, that's all anyone did; killed others if they didn't have any interest in them and what could a young boy offer a man? Nothing.

Omri's heart rushed, his mind thinking over time. He was only trying to find food, he saw the kill and thought he could steal some. Stupid... it was stupid of him to think he could. Having nothing else to do, Omri burst from the tree, running as fast as his legs could take him sure that the man would pursue him, though hoping he wouldn't. He stumbled as he ran, the logs and weeds unseen in the darkness catching onto his legs and the sharp, stray thorns scratching at his bare legs and feet. Omri knew, any minute, he'd be dead... surely... that was how it always ended.

Kiazer watched the shadows waiting for anything. His piercing blue eyes scanned a bit "There's no point in hiding your scent gives you away." He say crouching a bit as if ready to stalk his prey. He held the knife at a better angle of defense rather then to just kill.

Omri stopped moving. By now he was in plain sight. He'd run rather far, but not far enough to be out of view. Hearing the man's voice caused him to freeze in place, this man was a true hunter. There was no way a small boy would be able to escape his professional skills and heightened senses.

Slowly he turned to face the man, trying to look as harmless as possible since he didn't want to start a fight. Omri had nothing to say, after all, he had been planning on stealing the man's food when the guy probably needed the food more than him. He had a pleading look in his eyes and stance, a look that... maybe the man would let him go without a fight that Omri would surely lose.

Kiazer raised a brow and stood up straighter. "What's your name and what do you want?" He asked putting his knife away not seeing the threat in a kid. He removed his hood as he went back to his cooked meat. Any bad movement from the kid he's be quick but at this point in time he would allow the kid to be around.

Kaizer flipped the meat and looked at the kid through the smoke. "What is a kid like you doing out here aren't you suppose to be in the town with the others at school or playing?" he asked

Omri slowly stepped forward, "I... I am Omri," he spoke as confidently as he could. He didn't answer the second question in fear of being attacked or something of the sorts. The third question, Omri wasn't quite sure how to answer so he shook his head. There was so much going on with him that he didn't quite feel comfortable explaining it to a strange man who once threatened him with a knife. Then again, at that point the man hadn't known who he was.

Omri could smell the meat as it's scent wafted through the air. His stomach hurt just smelling it. It had been at least a day since he'd last eaten and he was rather skinny due to the lack of food. Omri tried not to look at the man or the food, his eyes downcast by this point. He loosened up a bit, seeing how the man no longer seemed to be a threat.

"Well Omri, I'm Kaizer." He says putting some of the meat on a big leaf and then bringing it to him "Sit... Eat I bet it's been days hasn't it." he says before going to get another slice for him. He sat back on a log and looked at Omri. "I see your not one for information thats good, Just tell me this Are you running away?" he asked examining the kid silently and noting all the dirt and lone factor.

Kaizer took a bite of his meal and kept looking around just to make sure there was no danger. One thing he had learned with being a Hunter and being what he was is never let your guard down no matter what. His nostrils flared a bit as if he was smelling the air.

Omri cautiously but gratefully took the food and sat down, cross-legged on the earth. He was shocked this man... Kaizer, offered him food. No one had ever done that. He nodded in response to his question about the food. Sometimes Omri forgot how long he would often go without eating. Omri wasn't able to hunt. He could probably do it if he tried, but he simply didn't have the gut. Omri dipped his head in gratitude as he took a piece, eating it and immediately feeling the most satisfaction he had felt in so long.

Omri was glad Kaizer accepted the fact he didn't quite want to share. Now that his question was more a yes or no answer, Omri was willing to say something, diverting his eyes to the ground and saying, "No... I did not run away."

Kiazer looked at Omri "What of your family." He asked. He didn't like the idea of a lone child no matter how difficult things are. He sympathized with the kid in a way. He didn't want to leave the kid alone if there were someone that was going to come for him. He flipped more of the meat that was on the fire before getting a canteen out and holding it out to Omri "Need a drink?" he asked
