<Basic Information>
Name: Reon Leonel
Age: 23
Race: Half-Elf
Home Region: Baymond
Class: Rogue
Occupation: Assassin/Spy

<Appearance>
Hair/Fur Color: Onyx Black with strands of silver streaking randomly throughout.
Eye Color(s): Emerald Green.
Skin Color: Pale white.
Markings/Scars: Reon has a scar across the bridge of his nose, starting roughly under one eye and ending under the other. He also has numerous scars scattered over his arms and torso from numerous battles he has been in due to his occupation.
Clothing Style: Reon wears light clothing, sticking to tunics and loose-fitting pants and boots. He wears two belts over top his tunic in a cross-shaped fashion, which often hold holsters for his weapons and other small pouches filled with other supplies including potions and poisons. Reon also commonly wears a long, black scarf that has a flame-like design embroidered on the ends.

<Equipment>
Weapons: Reon frequently carries an enchanted longsword that's commonly in a sheath on his back, the enchantment allowing the weapon to be summoned to him on command, as long as it's on the same plane of existence as him. He also keeps two large daggers sheathed at his sides at all times, hiding them inside his boots if he needs to blend in. He also has numerous throwing knives sheathed around his belt.
Armor: Reon sticks to leather armor as he carries out his missions. It doesn't help against cannonfire, arrows or gunfire, but it allows him to move without much hinderance.
Other Gear: During long treks across the realm, Reon often carries a basic travelpack, filled with a tinderbox, a lantern, spare flasks of oil, a bundle of hemp rope, a bedroll and a waterskin.

<Background>
Reon's family was once a noble household within the city of Baymond before the occupation of the "Royal Officials". He lived a happy childhood as an only child with is mother and father, until the officials hiked the taxes and offered a "protection" fee to the nobles. Farms were privatised to the higher nobility, access to water was gated to those who could pay their exorbitant fees, even trade was restricted with all the more high-end goods going straight to the pockets of the royal officials.
In a fit of anger, Reon's family decided to flee and leave the city, alongside many others who sought a better life for not only themselves, but their families as well. The officials didn't take too kindly and began hunting the escapees as "fugitives"; luckily, Reon's family was able to cross the border into Breakwater before any of the officials could reach them.
From there, Reon's family continued life as merchants, however Reon himself vowed to end the occupancy of the so-called "Royal Officials", thus turned to training in subterfuge and deception under the wing of a roguish adventurer who trained him well throughout his teenage and early-adult years; that was until his mentor unfortunately perished against a wyrmling, alongside the party's mage and ranger, leaving Reon and the party's Cleric and Artificer to survive, defeating the wyrmling and returning back to Breakwater.
Reon still has a lot to learn in terms of being a Rogue, but he'll have to continue his training through experience.

The Theoghon Chronicles

TheLittleVee replied to TheLittleVee's topic

Theoghon - a realm created by the eight ancient dragon gods Delbos, Mivrut, Torgir, Ipis, Mana, Frinvy, Xedyr and Rodheth - is a realm filled with developing technology and mystical magic abilities. Throughout millenia they fought a brutal and destructive war with each other, their powers equally matched; they destroyed and rebuilt the land that they had created, until its inhabitants had enough. The powers in charge of each land petitioned the dragons to cease their fighting, else take it elsewhere. With none coming to an agreement, the eldest dragon - Delbos, the Gold Dragon of Kings - decided to seal each dragon into their own reality, including himself, so that the realm can develop on their own and live without threat of possible extermination again.

Twelve cities rose from this destruction:
- Feywood, the City of unity; known for their famous "Unity Festival" which takes place yearly to celebrate the communion between the races of the world, ignoring racial boundaries and accepting everyone as equals.
- Silverbrook, the City of Technology; the technological cornerstone of the realm and home of a huge central tower called "The Citadel", which houses a skydock for Medis airships, the government's offices and the courts of the country.
- Greystone, the City of Stagnation; a city full of strife and citizens that're hellbent on keeping tradition alive. They are well behind the times, relying on more primative, medieval weapons and tactics for defence. Their current king, Tristan Clashclaw, a tyranical ruler who many wish to see deposed.
- Baymond, the City of Lies; a city that has seen better days, its buildings and homes crumbling. Unless one is wealthy and pays the "Royal Officials" handsomely, one will find it extremely difficult to survive.
- Nishka, the City in the East; an eastern city that whilst being more technologically inept, practices traditional forms of art, fighting and martial arts. It is home to one of the only "Seers" in the realm, who are people with the ability to glimpse into the future. They also practice ancient martial arts techniques at temples, where one can master one or multiple schools of technique.
- Freybreach, the City of Riches; surrounded by cliffs on all sides but one, this city is home of a treasure-hunting guild called "World's Contract", who frequently set up camp and delve into a massive crater-like ruin located south-west of the city.
- Midglen, the City of Mages; an Elven city full of magical energies. Home of the mage's guild and a school that teaches most forms of magic to those who have the correct affinities. It is also the realm's primary provider of a mystical material called Manawood, a material that's commonly used in the creation of staves and wands, as well as carts, shields and ships due to its durable and flame-resistant nature.
- Colkirk, the Maze City; the streets of Colkirk are enchanted to have a thick haze covering the city roads. To those unfamiliar to the city, it warps their sense of direction and causes them to get absolutely lost. In reality, the haze takes you directly to where you want to be. Colkirk is also home of the "Crimson Band", a group of bounty hunters.
- Bellside, the Island City of Wine; Whilst not completely considered to be a city, the location is popular for its wineries, their greatest export to most taverns throughout the realm being their liquor "Ervon Crystalline".
- Rockmere, the Underground City; an ancient Dwarven city that continues to grow and is constantly maintained by its people. Its tunnels and mines are filled with ancient history and riches ready for those willing to put in the effort to earn their share.
- Breakwater, the Port City; the realms largest port city and the centre of most trade throughout the land. It is also the headquarters for "The Golden Hearts", the realm's merchant's guild, who have their offices at the entrance of the city to inspect cargo and create trade manifests. It is common to see adventurers and mercenaries alike here, as captains often hire to protect their cargo.
- Brinewater, the Cursed City; located within the centre of a dormant volcano, Brinewater is filled with the tormented, the deranged and the belligerent. It is a cursed land filled with nothing but death, despair and demons. Crime is rampant, and so are the monsters that lurk within the city's territory.

With the realm no longer governed by the ancient dragons, only their lesser kin remain and causing mass destruction with an on-going power struggle. However, another threat lingers as a group of cultists seek fragments of a keystone that they believe will bring back the ancient dragons and bring forth the destruction of the current realm, and the birth of a new age.

Returning RP'er, a forever DM...

TheLittleVee replied to TheLittleVee's topic

Been a hot minute, but I've returned from inacivity... Seems my old account got deleted and my RPs removed with it, so now I have to start from scratch. Thankfully, though, I've had plenty of ideas for RPs to come.

But first, a little bit about me:
I'm Vee. I'm from Australia and I'm an avid gamer and RP'er.
I've been a Dungeon and Dragons DM on and off for around 4 years, though despite all of my ideas for homebrew settings, they always get thwarted by the stupidity and hijinks of my players. I've also played other tabletop games such as "Vampires: The Masquerade" and "Ironclaw".
I am also a part of both the Furry and LGBTQ+ communities.

I have interests in Fantasy, Action, Sci-Fi, Romance, Apocalyptic (and Post-Apocalyptic) and some Anime RP settings. I also enjoy semi-litterate, paragraphed RPs; not one-liners (except under certain circumstances).
I will only ever play as my own characters, never any pre-made characters as I feel that it lacks creativity using someone else's work.

So yeah, that's me. Feel free to shoot me a message or take a look at my RPs if you're interested (once they're ready, of course). I can also answer any questions you have here, if you have any.
