*Steals you away* Okay then, it's decided. Yeet, let's go. Also, add my second account Noceur, I just sent you the invite for any other stories we might do. I have a Harry Potter plot that is gorgeous you might be interested in.

No one has bitten yet, and at least I'd know with you, it would be a story I would literally DIE to get on and write. I trust your writing more than I trust the sun to rise in the morning.

The Story of Sam, 1x1, Marvel

Ecophobia replied to Ecophobia's topic

This is a teaser of an idea I've had for a really, really long time. The Story of Sam, a background Marvel character who has been there for Tony Stark through the ups and downs, not like pepper. Closer in terms of thinking, and emotions. They connect like lovers but are truly best friends. They worry, they care for each other so much that it's almost romantic. Except it's like Love, Rosie. They don't realize the person in front of them is so beyond perfect for them until it's too late. Maybe...

Enjoy the teaser

{from Tony Stark's Point of View}

"Huh, where to begin… Well, like most stories I guess. Let’s start from the beginning. Friends since childhood, a neighbor in Malibu who was playing with a garbage can lid as a shield, a few friends with her but you get the gist. She was pretending to be Captain America. And I guess things haven’t changed much because I snarkily shouted from fixing my beat up computer in my garage “Captain America is the worst.” To which she turned to see me, a scrawny looking kid who couldn’t seem to keep his mouth shut even for the sake of everyone elses happiness. Placing her lid down and telling her friends she would meet them later, she stepped up to the gate which surrounded my dad’s huge house and smirked.

"'Then who is the best…?' I went to open my mouth, but truly I couldn’t really think of any other super hero, not at the moment anyways. Shaking my head I continued to rewire everything and she looked curious, 'Whatchya doin there Genius?' She asked, again snarky… Kind of like I was.

"I could keep onto this tale of how this little girl from outside my gate when I was a kid stole my heart, but I just said it. No, this isn’t what your thinking. I didn’t fall in love with this girl, this blonde haired little smarty who had just as many comebacks as I had retorts. I loved her, yes. More like… A sister. No that would be… Weird. I loved her, she was my world. She made my world spin on its axis and heated it up like the sun had just hit the US continent on the summer solstice. Sam had lost her parents at a young age, from a car crash. My parents had taken her in, every since that cute little day my mom, Maria, had loved her like the daughter she never had. And for someone who was smarter than most of his school, she gave me a friend I always wanted.

"Sam… Sam was everything since the moment that my parents died. She held me, she cooked me meals, she dried the tears, she planned the funeral when it was too hard for me to seal up the emotions I had spilling out inside our private little world. And with her, it was easy to be… Free of the expectations that came to the world of being Tony Stark. I didn’t want to be looked at, or expected to be something so incredible, Sam… Sam just was there because she knew I needed her. Sam never cared for the money, or who I brought home from MIT that was… I’ll admit a little old for me. Sam was just… Sam. She made my world so perfectly simple, helped me process my thoughts too big for my brain to translate to my mouth sometimes, and controlled my temper in a way that only she could.

"I would say that we completed each other but that just wouldn’t be the truth. She completed me, because she was the whole puzzle. Every piece in exact order and to this day I still can’t tell you how she did it. I can’t even ask her, because… She’s no longer here. Sammantha Emily Greene, was my first ever love and she will most likely be my last. Because as I stand here, giving this… Soppy eulogy for my best friend, that… I will never be able to thank, for saving not only me but… Half the universe, so I could… Raise a daughter. So I could be given my life to live in return for hers. Sam I gotta tell you, I wish you were here. To be the mother you were meant to be to my daughter. Even though she wasn’t yours, you treated everyone like family. Steve, Me, Tony, Tasha…. Everyone of the Avengers was your family and you died to protect them and… I just can’t help but feel a little bit pissed that you took that moment of attention from me.

Tony Stark chuckled, tears racing down his face as he held the crumpled paper in trembling hands. Wiping his face quickly and placing his hand in his pocket as he fidgeted to seem bothered but he was. At the lake house in which their last good memories were spent, the Avengers stood crying for the one person that held them together.

“You were everything I wanted to be, you wer-.... Are my hero Sammy and I will always… Truly, completely, honestly, with all of my life…. Love you. I fell in love with you, as hard as I tried not to fall in love with this… Crazy smart girl who could handle a gun, professionally like Bucky, hold a shield like Cap, out dad-joke Clint, and blow me out of the water with that sharp tongue of yours. I’m sure Loki is rolling in his grave, and to you Sam…. You will be my reason for fighting everyday.”

“I can’t avenge you now… But I can love you until my heart stops beating. And I’m finally with you to tell you all this.”

Thats it, that's all you get is the very END of the story we have yet to write. If your interested contact me please, I only do Multi-para or Novella I'm looking to take on only one more Role-play with this so please drop your comments or friend invites. I'll be waiting.
