The convoy proceeds to roll through a mocked up main street. There is no one on the street as the vehicles came. Then, all of a sudden there was an explosion just in front of the lead vehicle and automatic weapons fire was coming from multiple windows and people who had been hiding on the street.

"CONTACT FRONT! CONTACT FRONT!" Gordon screamed.

Cole echo the contact call.

All that came from Vehicle One was the sound of the horn as the driver was "incapacitated".

"Hold on, lads." Gordon said as he pressed his SUV forward. They made contact with the back of the lead vehicle and pushed them out of the killzone. Once he was satisfied that they were clear enough from danger, Gordon gave the order to dismount. He provided covering fire to Barnes, who moved to the vehicle and checked on the occupants. The protectee didn't seem to have any injuries and was rushed to the back of Vehicle Two.

"Rixon, Nick and Michael are hurt, I need your help movin' 'em, mate."

Nick stood in front of two beat up SUVs the company uses for vehicular combat training. To the right of him stood a woman wearing facial protection gear and body armor.

"Ok, this is a standard low vis ambush repel scenario. 5 man detail. this will be our protectee *gestures to woman next to him* Lead Vehicle will be Michael driving and myself shotgun. Vehicle Two will be Gordon driving, Rixon shotgun and Barnes in the rear for security and medical. Any questions?"

Cole raises his hand.

"Any MISSION RELATED questions?"

Cole lowers his hands.

"Then let's get it on, people."

"Go easy on him, lad. We lost a mate on a contract down in Bolivia a month back. He still blames himself. His team, his watch and all that. He's a good man. I trust him with my life. We all do. Just let him see that you can handle yourself and he'll take to you in no time.

Nick stepped out of his cage with his tan plate carrier on.

"We're headed to the range. Gordon, take Rixon to the Quartermaster to get whatever he wants. I'm serious about wanting to know what the kid can do."

With that, Gordon, Michael and Cole put on their plate carriers. Cole put on Multi-Cam cargo pants. The four men grabbed their weapons of choice.

Michael, Cole and Nick all headed out the door. Gordon walked to Matt's cage.

"Come along, lad. Let's get you kitted proper." Gordon said with another semi-smile"

"Don't mind Mikey, here. He gets all shy and nervous when he meets new people. If you're around long enough, you won't be able to shut him up." Cole said as he began doing pull ups in his cage.

"Hey, Doc. Bite me. And I told you NOT to call me Mikey. It's a courtesy that I respond to "Mike". My name is Michael, that's what it says on my birth certificate and that's what it's gonna say on my grave. THAT'S what you'll call me in life, get it?" Michael said as he walked toward Cole's cage and Gordon stepping front of the man to stop him from getting any closer.

Michael could of gone through Gordon like he wasn't even there, though the older Brit was no slouch. But out of courtesy, Michael stopped and went back to his own cage, but not before getting in one more retort.

"Or else I'll lay you out like I did in Bosnia."
