Arclight - Destined to be the villain
Villain Name: Arclight
Real name: Unknown (Given the name Ray by Father)
Species: Genetically modified human with Powers
Age: 23
Key info: Ray, or Arclight as she is well known by, is the daughter of one of the leading Supervillains of the current Era, a man simply known as Father to all, his real name going unknown. Father is known to be a man who has been perfecting the art of developing those with powers, altering them, controlling them, with a goal of building himself the perfect army to take over the world.
As far as Ray is concerned, Father is indeed her actual father, yes unknowing to her she was taken some point in her past and her memories removed. Since then she has grown up under Fathers strict regime in an ocean based city called Sealand, a lawless land ruled over by Father an out of reach of the powers of any of the major landmasses around it.
He worked on honing her powers, striving for perfection through any means necessary. It was upon a rogue visit from a group of heroes that Ray got a view of something outside Sealands regime, she convinced her father to allow her to take an excursion to the mainland to seek potential new recruits for his cause. Instead she is seeking to find her self, discover some freedom and decide if she really wants to follow in her fathers footsteps.
She is unaware just how well recognized she may be among hero circles and naïve to the way the real world works. Yet with all her training and a sizable fund to cover any expenses, she is sure she can manage on her own.
With her ability to heal/regenerate it can make her somewhat cocky in a fight, pushing herself hard and not paying attention to the injuries she takes on. This can lead to her pushing herself past her limits without realising it before it is too late to slow down. This then leaves her greatly vulnerable afterwards.
Powers: Ray has two main powers, regeneration/healing and electrokinesis.
Her regeneration/healing allows her to recover from small injuries near instantly and greatly speed up the effect of greater injuries. Yet being able to heal doesn't mean that she cannot feel pain. Through training her tolerance is high enough to allow her to push through some pretty serious injuries but not without great detriment to herself.
Her healing innately works to repair injury over time, painkillers serving to allow her to manage the recovery process. When she pushes herself she can force herself to heal faster, though this can drain her of energy pretty quickly, leaving her dizzy and weak for a while afterwards.
She does not know the full extent of her powers on this front, having at worst recovered from quite a serious impalement injury through the abdomen in a training practice that went wrong. This required extremely strong painkillers for her to manage through the healing process and still makes her shudder thinking back to it.
Her electrokinesis is more flexible, allowing her to use it in a variety of ways from wrapping herself in electricity for a layer of protection in hand to hand combat, to sending out bolts of electricity from her fingertips to a range in between.
Whilst the power of her electricity can be rather strong, she sometimes has issues holding back when she is angry and this can lead to doing more damage than intended or creating sparks around herself subconsciously.
Alongside this despite her ability to create and manipulate her electricity, she is not immune to electricity herself. Her power is well controlled in the fact that she almost keeps a buffer between herself and her power, yet this can be broken if she is knocked off focus whilst controlling her powers. Her electricity can also be redirected back against her through the use of conductive materials meaning she must be wary in areas with large amounts of metals.

Dislikes: Being beaten/failing at tasks she sets out to do, having to spend time training her powers with Father, the feeling that she gets after pushing herself too far
