What is the multiverse?

The multiverse is a collection of 9 stories, all connected, but not directly
how are they connected? well they were all created by 1 man...a man known as the creator
The creator does not show himself to the creatures of his world....
He is like the dungeon master, he just...helps guide the path, and sometimes doesn't even do that
