Summary: Asmodeus — also known as Asmodev — a prince of demons is cunning with many faces used to tempt the hearts of men. No one should be fooled by his seductive words of sex, money or power. He can come in many forms whether that being a kind businessman or playboy bachelor or even a woman, changing his personality at whim to suit. His main goal is nothing but your soul and he would go any lengths to retrieve it. Fundamentally, Asmodeus is a selfish and lustful demon ruling the second circle of hell; lust. On earth, he lives a life of luxury with women and men alike, tempting them to commit immoral acts of sodomy, adultery, rape, seduction and fornication. Worry not, he can not harm you if you are spiritual but he can tempt you. However, if he has your soul or he manages to break your faith, there isn't nothing he won't do to you. In hell, he lives a similar life but with lower to middle ranked demons. He manages the punishments of the souls he's obtained and finds pleasure in entering other circles to tease their own rulers (pride, gluttony, wrath, greed).

Just like Lucifer, Asmodeus was once an angel loyal to God's creed. Naturally, at this time, he possessed the same traits of which he has now... arrogance and obnoxiousness with a need to provoke others. However, he followed behind God as his benevolent servant regardless of his wishes. During this time, he questioned God's superiority, wondering why they were following him in the first place but bringing forth such matters would be considered treacherous. Still, he couldn't understand why being hesitant was an issue. Lucifer, the chief of all angels — beautiful, intelligent and powerful — was one who belittled his standpoint, seeing God as an almighty being who had created them and so it was only in their best interest to obey him; it was the right thing to do.
Hypocritically, Lucifer was the first to object to God's new creation, mankind and the earth they roamed. In short, when God asked of him to love them and cherish them like he did, Lucifer immediately refused. He saw them as heinous creatures, an abomination and denied the fact that God had made them in his own image. In a fit of rage and denial, Lucifer revolted and God casted him down to hell, banishing him from heaven's gates. It was then that Lucifer made a promise that he would turn God's creation against him and rise up to his throne because he was tainted, an unfit ruler.
Asmodeus watched everything on the sidelines but did not follow after Lucifer immediately. Instead, he took to studying humans so he could truly see them for who they were. Although imperfect, not all humans were the same. Some held love in their hearts whilst others harbored ill intent, greed, pride and lust. This lust was something that stood out to Asmodeus, igniting a fire in his heart. However, he pushed it away as having any sexual relations with a human was strictly forbidden.
It took plenty of millenniums before Asmodeus rebelled against God himself. It was because of his hypocrisy and power hungry stance that drew Asmodeus away. It started with Adam and Eve, he knew fully well what would happen when he put that forbidden apple in that garden. He knew what would happen when he showed blatant favoritism towards Abel. The more Asmodeus watched, he could see that this was just some sort of game for God.
He flooded the earth ruthlessly regardless of the billion of human lives lost. God believed it was for their salvation because they had forgotten he was their creator and he could take everything away from them — most of these souls regardless of age had been sent to hell, even the animals. Still, he allowed a few humans and animals to survive the event which was another sign of his favoritism (Noah's ark). Afterwards, God was regretful over the flood which didn't sit well with Asmodeus at all (why do something so terrible and then gaslight afterwards) and promised he would never flood the earth again. Next, it was the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham, Moses... Asmodeus' faith slowly began to decrease and Lucifer's belief finally resonated with him.
He stood by and watched as God showed favoritism to specific humans whilst allowing others to starve and rot with disease. These were countless of lives which could have been saved but instead, God saw these as tests for them to show their faith in his power; only then would he save them. Asmodeus saw this as manipulation and realized how imperfect God truly was. Humans who were filled with pride, envy and lust were made in his complete image but yet he casted their souls down to hell like it was their fault, it was a slap to the face. God knows that humans will sin because he's made them that way, he knew that Lucifer would rebel. He knows that many lives will be lost. He just wants robots who will believe and follow everything he saws whilst ignoring their own desires.
All this time, Asmodeus yearned for freedom but the thought that God truly was almighty kept him rooted, but not anymore. After dropping his faith and falling to hell. Asmodeus allowed himself to do whatever he wanted, however he wanted. Some of God's future actions have created a hatred within him. Lucifer isn't any better than God but at least he doesn't hide behind some kindhearted façade. He's down and dirty to the bone, never giving false pretenses.
In heaven, Asmodeus was second in strength to Lucifer so upon arriving to hell. He was given the second circle of lust which he rules over. Although others believe he is trying to take the throne away from Lucifer, he has no interest in all of that. Instead, he's more interested in provoking others and tempting humans. He finds it laughable how humans continue to worship a God who doesn't follow his own rulebook and how they shun things that are immoral when God was the one who created immorality in the first place. To this day, he allows Lucifer to do as he pleases when he can easily get rid of him, subjecting humans to unforgiveable trails because he's prideful and believes his creation will not rise up against him. He wants to give them the idea of a choice when he already knows what they'll choose.
On a normal day, Asmodeus prefers to spend his time on earth roaming churches, nightclubs and bars, spreading chaos in his wake. Over time, he has forgotten about the true good that can be found in humans and now, only sees them as chess pieces on a board. He doesn't care about the rivalry between God and Lucifer. He doesn't care about gaining power or ruling earth. All he cares about are the many souls he can tempt to their demise and having fun. He finds it extremely entertaining to tempt angels/archangels as well to prove his point, seeing them as ignorant fools.
Regardless of all this, Asmodeus was still previously an angel and there was once a soft spot in him. One of the reasons he rebelled was because of the unfair treatment towards humans but after a specific incident resulting in the scar on his face (caused by Lucifer), Asmodeus is ten times colder then what he was in the past. He is arrogant and sarcastic, showing little to no regard for human life and using whatever people he can get his hands on as his personal playthings. He is an impulsive demon, known for his self-destructive behavior and his devious, sadistic mind. Asmodeus is also very self-confident, given that he'll confront anyone regardless of rank, without hesitation, and without regard to manners, even when they themselves pose no signs of hostility towards him.
In conclusion, he shows psychopathic tendencies but some of his actions (though secretive) shows he is far from a psychopath.

- Photokinesis — He can generate massive amounts of destructive energy which can obliterate large areas
- Basic demon abilities — super strength, stamina and senses, astral projection, electromagnetic interferences (electronic items go haywire in his presence) and immortality (he does not age and looks like 35 when he is billions of years old)
- Teleportation — The ability to teleport from one place to another, without occupying the space in between.

- Sedation — He can render an entire diner full of people unconscious in the blink of an eye.

- High tier demons — Lucifer can attempt to get rid of him if he wants to. The other sins: Greed, Pride, Gluttony and others can harm him but not as easily as Lucifer. It would be a ruthless fight, almost too easy for him as Lust is known to be the most powerful sin. At full power, he may even rival Lucifer but he's not interested in that so he isn't seen as a threat.

- Invulnerability — Guns, knives or any human manufactured weapon does not work on him neither does holy water, salt or bible passages. He gets really offended and laughs when its done to him. He isn't some low classed demon like come on.
- Resurrection — an ability he does not use. He can bring a human back to life but he has zero compassion to do so. He can not bring anyone back from heaven
- Power granting — he can give powers to humans, turning them into witches/wizards. Usually, used as pawns for his means.
- Shapeshifting — he can seamlessly transform himself into any person he deems necessary. However, this is just a veil which can be seen through by very spiritual humans like priest or even just a normal human but this is rare.
- Photokinesis — He can generate massive amounts of destructive energy which can obliterate large areas
- Basic demon abilities — super strength, stamina and senses, astral projection, electromagnetic interferences (electronic items go haywire in his presence) and immortality (he does not age and looks like 35 when he is billions of years old)
- Teleportation — The ability to teleport from one place to another, without occupying the space in between.
- Invisibility — Some demons can become invisible to humans.
- Sedation — He can render an entire diner full of people unconscious in the blink of an eye.
- Super Strength — As a Prince of Hell, Asmodeus possesses a level of strength beyond even the vast majority of demons.
Weaknesses
- High tier demons — Lucifer can attempt to get rid of him if he wants to. The other sins: Greed, Pride, Gluttony and others can harm him but not as easily as Lucifer. It would be a ruthless fight, almost too easy for him as Lust is known to be the most powerful sin. At full power, he may even rival Lucifer but he's not interested in that so he isn't seen as a threat.
- Nephilim — a hybrid between angel and human. They can harm him
- Primordial entities — God himself, God of Death, Archangels
Extra info:
- Asmodeus has a scar on his face as depicted in the face claim below. They were caused by Lucifer, the reasoning for this is unknown.
- Most believe Asmodeus to be an irreparable monster unable to show true feelings for another. If he were to do so, he would severely mocked and anyone at the end of this would be warned not to believe him.
- Asmodeus can be changed by a kinder character. The most he may stop doing is mindlessly killing and tormenting humans unless with good reason. He is capable of love, nobility, loyalty, and selflessness, masking the most intense of his emotions to spare himself from seeming weak.
- At full power and angry, Asmodeus can be very dangerous.
