Strength(s)/Power(s): Because of the special training that Maxine received throughout her childhood, she is incredibly accurate with most firearms. She has a particular fondness for sniper rifles and handguns, however, she has been trained to properly handle any rifle including assault rifles. Besides her marksmanship mastery, Maxine is extremely agile and flexible which allows her to escape almost any dangerous situation with relative ease. Furthermore, she is surprisingly adaptive and can react to any surprises from her foes in a matter of seconds. With her abilities, normal people could never defeat or capture her without an amazing plan to succeed.
Weakness(es): Despite all of her training, Maxine is only focused on the job and nothing else. Therefore, if she currently pursuing her target, she will not examine her surroundings and hence a trap could be set without her realizing it until it is too late. Also, considering she is not greatly skilled with close-quarters combat, she is rather fragile and can be quickly overwhelmed in a straightforward brawl. Lastly, she is secretly emotional and will hesitantly surrender if her opponent threatens to kill some innocent bystander or somebody she loves.

When Maxine is not doing any wetwork for the Ebony Serpents, she can be discovered at her comfortable apartment prepping for the next assignment, which involves cleaning her weapons and browsing the black market for any other goodies. Though, when she is not preoccupied with her occupation or keeping up with her training, she usually watches her favorite shows and movies while sneaking in a snack or two. She used to read more frequently but she believes that watching television is the ideal way for her to relax and be as lazy as she wishes to be. She even goes out on special occasions to clubs or cafés for a pleasant change, finding it strangely satisfying to see people enjoying themselves. And, if she is not doing any of these, Maxine puts on headphones and listens to her favorite music while laying on her bed.

On July 8, the Ebony Serpents acquired their newest member into their massive organization from the Creed family. The Ebony Serpents are a vicious organized crime syndicate frequently compared to the mafia, except that most individuals are unaware of the existence of the Ebony Serpents unless they are involved with the criminal underworld. It is not necessarily a secret society, but merely a frightening syndicate that attempts to do its dirty work away from prying eyes such as the police and the general public. As for the Creed family, they are loyal contract killers for the Ebony Serpents and have been ever since the syndicate began, used as crucial pawns for the organization that does any wetwork that is required such as assassination. However, the Creed family is restricted to only having four members which obviously includes a mother, father, and two children just in case one died. In order to locate a spouse, the Ebony Serpents usually provided a suitable spouse. It is tradition for the child to kill one of their parents once their training is complete before accepting any official jobs from the Ebony Serpents, and thus Maxine Creed was thrown into a world that she desired to never have been born in. After all, compared to other members of the Creed family, she wished to not harm a single soul, and yet her unfortunate fate forced her to do otherwise.

Maxine’s parents expected her to be a boy and so they intended to name their child Max, yet they were obviously forced to change it when the doctor notified them that they were having a daughter. It seemed somewhat embarrassing but Maxine meant “greatness,” and her father yearned to have a worthy successor so he considered the name extremely fitting for his child. Whenever Maxine was four years old, her intense training began in which she was taught a variety of topics dealing with assassination, such as how to use firearms and make the perfect preparations to eliminate a target. The Ebony Serpents handsomely paid the Creed family for their services and thus they had access to essentially anything they wanted, yet the requirements to obtain such wealth was simply too much in Maxine’s mind. Still, as the years passed, she grew numb to the thought of killing or so she thought until the day came for her final test and she was asked to kill her father. Despite the fact that all of the Creed family were professional killers, they had treated Maxine with love and respect similar to a normal family. Therefore, when she plunged her knife into her father’s throat after a challenging struggle and witnessed him release a final gasp of air, Maxine secretly returned to her previous mindset of never wishing to hurt anybody in this cruel world. The first people that a Creed member murders is their own parent as if being a professional contract killer for a dangerous syndicate wasn’t terrible enough.

As for the rest of Maxine’s background, she has become the official killer for the Ebony Serpents just like her father, tasked with eliminating any troublesome individuals and being awarded for her gruesome deeds. She has been nicknamed the “Venomous Viper” since she strikes her targets with astounding swiftness similar to a viper and vanishes without a single trace. It made her want to vomit to murder people and yet there was no turning back in her head. If she attempted to flee from the syndicate, she would eventually be discovered and shame the entire Creed family. She did have a brother but she was never allowed to see him since his sole purpose in life is to provide the next offspring of the Creed family whenever Maxine becomes useless to the organization. Her entire life is to be used as a puppet and Maxine despises almost every moment of her existence, wishing to have been born into a normal family who did not have such a murderous occupation. She does not intend to shame her family, but it becomes more difficult to kill people who have done nothing wrong to her and it is becoming increasingly obvious that she is growing tired of this bloodstained lifestyle. Perhaps one day, Maxine will be provided with the perfect opportunity to acquire freedom from the Ebony Serpents or she might simply defy orders one day and go against the terrifying syndicate in order to live her own life.
