My Rules of Roleplay

Hey! It's been a while since I roleplayed properly, so I thought a rules area might be useful :)

1. Response Size.
I personally am capable of writing anywhere between 1 (large) paragraph to 10 paragraphs, depending on how meaty our roleplay is. All I expect is 1 decent size paragraph, if not a little more. I do not do one or two line roleplays.

2. Themes
I am 22, I am accepting of sexual themes or darker themes. I have a tendency to be very detailed, especially when it comes to the darker themes. I'm known for character death and lots of general nastiness. If you have an issue with this please let me know beforehand. If you are uncomfortable with certain themes, make me aware. If there are themes you want to roleplay with, tell me before we start. There are still things that I'm not completely comfortable with kink-wise, so please show some respect for my feelings too.

3. Detail
Try to add a little detail; mix up your word use! Don't use 'says' or 'said' for everything, challenge yourself a little :) It makes things really interesting to read, and shows a lot more emotion. Same with the environment or action, describe it a little!

4. Planning
I like to plan things a slight bit! I'm not super strict and plan a full 6 months worth of storyline, that's boring. I like to plan a setting, and discuss how we get our characters talking/interacting etc. before starting. It just helps me think of good responses and things I can do to make things interesting. :)
I want to add that immediately jumping into rp without saying hi or really showing any 'ooc' response really doesn't sit well. I like to plan and chat a bit... don't expect me to just jump immediately into things!

5. Spam
I tend to write pretty quickly, but I AM a University student. Sometimes I might disappear for a few days. This is because of deadlines or a large workload. I try to work quickly to have those over with so I can roleplay as often as possible. Sometimes I might not be able to warn you beforehand, but I'll try to. Thank you for understanding!

6. "Sex Roleplays"
No. If you come to me asking if I'll flat out so a sex RP, MasterxSlave or whatever kind of crap, the answer will always be 'go look at my rules' with the most sarcastic smiley face ever created.
So no. If you're asking me for this, I know you haven't read these. Well done, you made yourself look bad! :)

7. Grammar.
I've studied English in education for years, and as such I've developed a bit of an eye for standard grammar tropes. The occasional mistake is something we all make, even myself! But a lack of punctuation makes responses almost impossible to read. I'll struggle to read, and make sense of what you're saying. Things like correct use of speech marks ( " " ) I'm also a bit of a stickler for. I write in 'novella' or 'book' format, and I kindly ask my roleplayers do the same!
