The birth of Lycidas Frederik Grimsbane is unknown as well as his birth parents. However, he quickly made a name for himself with his tyranny and evil nature. He brought forth famine, suffering and war in his path, creating deserted villages and the deaths of humans and vampires alike. His main goal? Complete world domination. At first, the world was scared of this threat and believed it was the end of it all until a hero with a magical blade - the holy grail managed to injure the vampire and defeat him momentarily gaining humans their first victory. There was once the prospect of peace but Lycidas was not one to back down easily. His blood lust and thirst for vengeance fueled him enough and he killed the said hero and destroyed the holy grail engrained into the blade. He continues on with his plan, killing and destroying anything that comes into his way; awakening demons from the pits of hell and allowing them to roam the earth, raiding and destroying villages in their path. He has heard a rumor that the holy grail is back but in the form of a beautiful woman/man. He would stop at nothing until he finds and kills them.
