After visiting Noctum, she was sort of even more upset than she was before. When even Donovan says no, it means there is truly no hope in the world she will ever be allowed to move to that school with Tristan and the others.
She is resigned, she is not a strong person, a rather submissive one and what she tried so far was already far above her normal way. Plus, she guesses that if she continues missing from school and Viktor will come to know about it from Malicedom staff, her hopes to ever be allowed anything from him would fade, including to meet Tristan during holidays, so she realizes it's really time she tells her uncle all the truth and returns to school, as proper.

On Saturday morning, as soon as Viktors finishes to work in Noctum, she asks him to come to their home, the Blood Castle, since she has to tell him something. No doubt, he is pissed off already that she is at home, since it already shows that she clearly is not at school, since she should sleep and live in there. Thus, he heads to her immediately.
With his job at the school and his many duties of Alpha, it wasn't hard for her to hide her presence to him, he never once returned to the Blood Castle after the beginning of school, Miriesh is in the East to teach, Johnny is more often at work and out than home and so on.

When she is in front of Viktor, it really is the typical scene with the angry dad and the sorry kid. Just, that he looks like he is about to eat her alive piece by piece and she acts as if he was about to eat her alive piece by piece. (XD)
She dares not to look at him, standing in all a scared pose, biting her nail and clearly struggling not to burst in tears. She thought so much about what and how to say it to him, but now her mind is totally blank. So she bursts in tears of course and starts to tell him the situation. When he accompanied her to Malicedom days before, she waited for him to leave and sneaked away, never entering the place. And she never returned there ever since, because she thought there could be a chance for her to attend Noctum where all her friends are and all things like this.
Needless to say, if she was male and Knight, he would have already slapped her a few times, at minimum, but it's not the case. Not even he could hit a girl, especially a non-knight girl, that he could hurt much more than he would want to. His expression though, says about everything. He is not the type who softens up, though he has to admire the fact she faced him and told him all the truth. Also, he has to admit that she had a super messy situation in the last days, so he almost justifies her, almost.
He knows she suffered a lot for all her life and it is for that that he doesn't make some terrifying scene nor punishes her for that. She is already terrified of him and he'd rather change that, but certainly not changing himself or his attitude.

Anyhow, absurdly, she even hugs him at some point, which leaves him like o.o , since he doesn't even remember when was the last time in his life he was hugged by someone. That manages to soften him for about 1 second, then he returns to normal, after all, he is not Edward. (XD)
That way, she manages to "buy" herself to be taken to Malicedom the next day and thus have the chance to meet Tristan one last time before starting school.
She sends him a message through magic mail, to explain him the situation and ask him if they could meet that day, since they won't be able to meet for over a month after that, until Winter holidays will arrive.

Ayaya
Ayaya Now, he is not even 100% sure if he is still in punishment or not, but this thing is quite important to him, especially since she asked him. And he really doesn't want to anger or worry his parents again, so he intends to ask for their permission of course and by a chance, in that moment both Carlie and Jackil are at home, so he goes straight to them, still with the paper in his hands.
«Dad, mom...even though I probably shouldn't...ask for anything...given the situation...this might be one of those..."special" situation that might...get me to try, anyway...» He is nervous and uneasy and truth be told, he never asked them if he could go out ever before, he just gave it for granted, as long as he respected the time to go back home.
Jackil, since he is asking them something, finds it positive and is quite :) while Carlie is totally ò.- not looking like soft.
Since he doesn't want to mention it in the corridor where his brothers might hear, he leads them to his room and closes the door before proceeding. He takes a deep breath, so nervous he can't hide it one bit. «Absynthia...my...girlfriend...she...tomorrow will have to return to school...Malicedom...which means that until Winter Holidays she will not be able to leave the school...I...wondered if it could be possible for me to...meet her...sometime during today...before she goes...» When he speaks with his parents -which is very new to him- he is totally unlike he is with everybody else in every situation. It's like he gets broken whenever he has to.

Jackil. He is almost touched that Tristan finally opened up, even though a very tiny bit, to him to the point to ask him this. He takes it as a sign that the conversation they had when he returned from Earth really opened up the chance for a better relationship between them.
He glances at Carlie, who turned around with crossed arms on her chest, not intending to answer. There are no words how hard she hates Absynthia -she doesn't know her at all- for being Tristan's girlfriend. She doesn't want her son to have girlfriends.
«I believe it is appropriate to meet her, yes. Unless your mom has something against this, I say you may!»

Carlie. «It's unsafe.»

Jackil. «I will accompany him to the place and stay to patrol the area until I will accompany him back home, there will be no risks...»

Carlie. «Fine.» She says coldly and leaves the room.

As she acts that way, he sits on the bed, covering his face with hands and taking a deep breath.

Jackil. He knows how stressed Carlie is right now, he will speak to her once done with Tristan. He doesn't blame her to be so annoyed all the time. «I am going out to buy some ingredients in a bit, we can go together, it would be nice if you got her some nice gift, what do you say?»

He remains in that pose though removes his hands from his face. «I do not have any money left...» He says with a very low tone, since he spent it all to buy the ingredients for the project that then got destroyed.

Jackil. He gives him a "Seriously now -.- " look at that, but not to disapprove the fact he spent his money, but the fact he is not giving for obvious his father will pay for it. He actually takes his wallet and takes five big, shiny Dolavis, handing them to him. With that money he could buy her a small apartment, far from the centre of the city. Though, Tristan doesn't take the money, he has a strange reaction instead.

He crouches a little while still sat on the bed, holding his arms together and lowering his head.

Jackil. His reaction confuses him in fact, he approaches the bed and sits beside him, still holding the money in his hand. He tilts his head looking at Tristan, and before he could say anything, he notices he is to the brink to burst in tears. «Oh no no no n-» Needless to say, he indeed starts to cry there, which Jackil really doesn't get, though he can guess it certainly depends on the way he behaved towards him in these years. He is aware to have been an awful father and only towards him. Treating Sigurd and Frerin always so well while being so cold and strict to Tristan had its damages on Tristan's attitude and personality and led to this totally messed relationship they have now.
Jackil sighs and pulls him for a hug, keeping a hand on the back of his head. «Why are you crying...?» Considering that he not just granted him to go out with Absy, but also proposed to buy her a gift, he would expect a little more cheerful reaction.

He sobs a little, trying to calm down. He feels so bad and unworthy, plus Jackil super kindness also somehow touches him deeply, but also brings back all the times in the past where he was all the opposite towards him. In brief, a total mess of feelings.
«Because I...do not deserve...it...»

Jackil. He sighs at Tristan's answer. He knows it's all his fault and blames himself indeed, but is really hoping the situation can solve for good, and this kind of reaction are a little disheartening. Though, he takes his hand, puts the gold goins in it and takes him by shoulders, looking at him in the eyes. «Take a few moments to get to yourself then prepare yourself to go out. We are going in 30 minutes.» He speaks with a very soft and soothing voice. Said that, he heads to speak to Carlie, promising her to dedicate the next day to her, full day, to do anything she will want to do, just her and him.
After 30 minutes, the two -both maniacally precise in everything, especially timing- meet by the door, ready to go out and head to the centre of Kempf, since right now it's the biggest city, much bigger than Thylum itself.
There, they start to walk among the stands and the shops of the city. To be brief, Jackil gets his ingredients for medicines and Tristan decides what to gift to Absynthia. Something fully in his style: a necklace, with a black, Obsidian chain and an Amethyst little wolf pendant, clearly pink. Then, they stop by big flower shop, as Jackil wanted to surprise his lady as well and Tristan got a crystal rose for Absy as well, black and red, shining very brightly. **In Nortrig it exists crystal flowers, which are real and alive, like made out of shiny gems** Jackil buys a whole bouquet of crystal flowers for Carlie, all of different shades of blue, knowing she loves it.
Also, Jackil does a pretty cute thing there. He took the two pieces of the crystal ball he gifted to Tristan when he was a child, that got him to start the minerals and crystals collection, that got broken when Jackil threw him on the whole collection, and handed the two pieces to a jeweler, to receive two precious necklaces made out of it. One he gave to Tristan, one he kept for himself. Even though the crystal ball was just a totally normal object, it really became a symbol to them in a way, it was Jackil's first gift to him, the first thing Tristan wished, what he called "his heart" as a child...in a way, to Jackil it represents their relationship, and seeing it broken in half while Tristan was disappeared, really triggered something in him.

Once done, they head back home, so that Tristan can prepare for his date, though on the way home, where there is never anybody, since they literally live in the middle of nowhere, in a crossroad, they come across a strange Nimox lady, with a bok at her feet. She is waving at them, wanting them to approach. And they do, even though Jackil motions Tristan to remain behind him. He is not taking any chance. Though, as they are close enough to see what's in the box, they both tilt their heads, as in it there is a wee wolf pup, red-brownish with such blue eyes and so fluffy and adorably cute. The Nimox explains to them that the mother of the cubs got killed by a hunter and that she took the cubs to save their lives, as otherwise they'd die as soon as the Winter wood arrive, in a few days. She literally begs them to take the cub and in truth, Tristan really wants it, but also knows that Carlie doesn't allow them to have pets in HER HOUSE in Nortrig. (XD) No pet of any sort and she would go so mad at him if he came back with a baby wolf. So, with Jack, he gets an idea, to take him, but give him to Absynthia too. So that the pup will be of both of them, without Carlie getting angry. In fact, Jackil finds it rather positive that for the first time ever, Tristan showed some interest in having a pet. He found it worrying how he never asked to have one, unlike Frerin.
So, he indeed takes the cub and place it in his room, still into the box, being soo super sneaky to make sure to be unseed and unnoticed by his mother.

In the evening, indeed thing goes as planned, Tristan and Absynthia meet by the restaurant he choose, in order to spend this last evening together before she leaves for the school. Except, that Carlie is in the same place, at the closest table, in the look of some random man, overhearing everything they say, being worse than a spy.
Though, listening to them she -unfortunately- can not find any single wrong thing, not a single reason to forbid them to be together, which annoys her even more. (XD)
At the end of the dinner, he gifts her the necklace, which she appreciates more than anything, since it really represents Tristan in a way and they lead outside, where Tristan said to have another surprise for her.
Right outside the restaurant is Jackil, waiting for him -not even he knew that Carlie went to spy on them- to accompany him home, of course only after he will be done with his gifts and to say goodbye to Absy.
Since he couldn't bring the wolf to the restaurant, he has to teleport back near their home, run to the house, grab the wolf and teleport back to her, which he does. Carlie still spying on them, of course, and getting even closer when Jackil moves away a little to give them some privacy.
Tristan gives the pup to Absy, saying it's another gift and that it will be theirs, like a "child". She of course loves it and is super happy about this, as it really feels as something that makes them closer as they share him. It also gets all emotional and touching, she bursts in tears saying how she thinks she doesn't deserve him, how she is not enough for him and all things like that, while instead he hugs her tightly and kisses her lips, softly, for the first time, no need to say any word.
Then they say goodbye to each other and as Viktor arrives too to accompany his niece to their home, Jackil and Tristan return home too. And the next day Absynthia indeed returns to Malicedom, for real and officially.

-The End- xD
