Personality: Some might describe him as a scaredy cat and someone who doesn't think for themselves, and they're absolutely right. He's shaky, doesn't really trust anybody, scared of absolutely everything and everyone that comes his way, and all in all just a very sad individual.

Backstory: Ever since he was little he was quite the normal child. He lived in a secluded home with his parents where he was home-schooled and lived a quiet and peaceful life with the loving family that he adored. When he was around seven years old, he was playing out in the woods and found a bunny there. Eiji would go out every single day to feed and play with the bunny, gaining a new best friend. One unfortunate day, he went outside to play with the bunny and was horrified to find the bunny was dead and juts fell to his knees and cried. "Why does anything have to die," he thought to himself. He hear a faint voice repeat what he said from behind him, to which he turned around and saw a dark and wispy figure there before him. He then heard the growl of a fox coming from the bushes, assuming that's what killed his bunny. With a leap, the fox attacked him and his parents could hear his screams from the outside and ran out to him. When they reached him, they didn't know what to be more horrified at. The fact that their son was practically mangled and his leg was torn, or that it was being covered in that same wispy shadow and healing right before their very eyes. They had a word for people like that: Ajin. His father wasn't having it and closed him off from other people and shut up in his attic. His father said it was so no one took him away, but in reality it was just because he was ashamed of him. He was ashamed that his beautiful son Eiji was replaced with some, in his words, 'weird immortal monster'. He wouldn't go anywhere hear his son and that left only his mother to care for him and teach him things. His mother always felt for so sorry for him so when he was nine, his mother ran away and took Eiji with her. They lived in hiding, isolated from the rest of the world. Unfortunately, about a year later, he was found out by the government and taken away to be experimented on. Ever since then, he was tortured and basically went through hell. They want to figure out what he is and why he came to be this way, and what were the limits of his regeneration and immortality. And they were willing to do anything and everything to get what they wanted. Even if that meant putting this poor innocent child through absolute horror.
