Backstory: Leo doesn't remember much from his childhood, but who could blame him? Anyone else in his shoes wouldn't want to either. When he was no more than 5 years old, his mother died in a car crash and he and his father were devastated. And unfortunately, Leo caught the bad end of it. His father turned to drinking and gambling, even borrowing money from some of the sketchiest people around. Leo was basically forced to care for himself and tried to stay out of the way when his father came home from a night at the bar. It didn't help that he wasn't normal either, on the account of Leo being a neko, which he got from his mother. When his father's debts became dangerously high, the last resort his father went to was to sell his 12 year old son to slavery which he never forgave his father for. He was traded around for years on end to the most vicious and cruel masters he'd ever encounter. All of them terrible in different ways. One even forced him to get a tramp stamp as a marking of being everyone's property for the rest of his life. Another master of his even branded him and used him as a personal ash tray. So it's safe to say that Leo has unfortunately become accustomed to this behaviour towards him. It's even twisted this poor boy's way of thinking and has begun to actually believe that it's okay to be treated like this. It even brings him joy to see that he's made his master/mistress happy.
