I remember you singing (Fantasy rp plot)

For this plot I already have a character ready, so I’m looking for someone to play the other role. Your character can be whoever you choose: royal, noble, accomplished commoner who has risen through the ranks, whatever you feel like. The only thing is that the plot makes most sense if your character has a somewhat high rank in their kingdom’s army. Magic and such is welcome as this works wonderfully as a fantasy roleplay.
This idea was inspired by a song so I used the lyrics while writing this plot.

The basic premise is that there are two kingdoms that have been at war for quite some time. Citizens from both kingdoms are fed nonstop propaganda about the people from that other kingdom to fuel the hatred. Could two people ever change things?

After yet another battle you’re wounded and separated from your troops. You’re sure that death will come any moment. When you hear someone approaching, you’re expecting to be met with an enemy’s sword. But there’s no attack. Instead the stranger cares for you, tends to your wounds, saves you from death. She sings to you, sometimes in languages you can’t understand. When your troops come looking, she flees. You are rescued and taken back with your own kind. You were quite delirious with blood loss and fever as she cared for you, you don’t really even remember her face. But you do remember her singing.

A creature from another kind

Some time passes. Fragile peace negotiations have started after countless losses on both sides and people from the enemy kingdom have come to the capitol. It’s there you hear the singing again. You search the crowds until you find the source. There she is. Even as distrust still blooms all around you, you start to become close. Maybe the two of you aren’t so different after all, despite everything you have been told. Peace could really be possible.

What will you do when you find out the peace negotiations are a trap? They expect you to go along with the plan. They expect you to kill. Can you go through with it anymore? Maybe it has become time to question how things are. That would mean going against your home and everything you hold dear. When the killing starts, what side will you choose? Could love ever endure such hatred?
