Azrael Vlad (House Of 1000 Corpses universe)

Azrael Vlad (formerly Gabriele Sherry) was perfectly normal person growing up. He lived with a rich mother and father and went to a high-end Christian school. All was well with Gabriele, that was until the day he would lose it all and his mind would completely snap. It was a very moody stormy late night. All in the Sherry household were fast asleep when a loud sound erupted and woke the young Gabriele up. Gabriele went to investigate and heard the sounds of screaming coming from his parent's bedroom. When Gabriele went to the bedroom, he saw that his parents have been brutally murdered. The details of the which were so gruesome that even the police reports shook the officers.

Ever since that night, Gabriele personality had completely changed. He began to grow an interest in the occult, mainly satanism. He also got interested in horror movies and seeing the deaths in those films really thrilled and moved on a sick personal manner to him. Once Gabriele got older and was living on his own. He would wear suits and had an interest in classical music. No one knows where this came from since before Gabriele never cared for such things before his parent's deaths. Specially he would wear a black Italian made suit with a pair of white gloves and sometimes a bowtie. Gabriele would also change his name to Azrael, a demonic name that he saw in the bible.

Gabriele now going by Azrael was now going to commit his first murder on an innocent homeless man. Azrael would lure the man into a false sense of securely by the promise of giving the man money. This however was a lie and Azrael had a sinister plot. Azrael drugged the man and took him to his home where the poor homeless man would experience all sorts of torment and brutality. One thing that was detailed into the police report was that Azrael had classical music playing even after the man's death and that a rose was placed on the man's corpse.

Azrael would be arrested for the first time but before he could be sent to jail. He managed to escape. Azrael was now a wanted man and was now highly dangerous. Azrael would travel state to state, mostly staying on the countryside, killing more and more people by the month.

Azrael would be given the nickname by the news outlets as "The Devil's Gentleman" for his false appearance of looking like a proper gentleman. A nickname of which Azrael seems to carry with much pride.
