Bio:
Cecil Cantium, or rather Cecil Everett as he held no claim to the Cantium line, is the bastard child of Hatori Cantium and Silva Gyui. Silva was a woman of the streets, working out of a house of ill-repute. Hatori, being the typical noble, had a small affair with Silva, and from this sinful session would come the bane of their existence. A Son, born with Golden Yellow eyes. Silva knew immediately how she might use this to her advantage, blackmailing Hatori with threats to expose the man to his family and to the King. Being the head of one of the High Houses, Hatori could never hope to openly challenge this woman. So, he would pay Silva, to keep her silent. After seven years, the treasury would notice the odd billings from Hatori, and launch an investigation. Eventually, it would be found via receipts that Hatori was siphoning money from the kingdom to pay off the mother of his bastard child. To save the Cantium House from total dishonor, Hatori agreed to step down and elected his son Indus his replacement. His reputation ruined, a prisoner in his own House, Hatori was no longer useful to Silva, and thus neither was her spawn. So, she threw him into the cheapest orphanage she could find, and ran off.

Cecil would spend the next ten years in hell. The other children would torment him for his appearance, for being the son of a whore, for any reason really... The headmistress was no better. She carried around a long wand meant to beat children for being bad, but being bad meant something as simple as letting dust collect on a piece of furniture. Using this to their advantage, the other children would often cause a ruckus and blame it all on Cecil, or break something of the Madam's and blame Cecil, for which he would be severely beaten... To this day, his back is marked with the scars, painting a brutal picture of his time there...

Once he turned 18, he was legally no longer obligated to stay in the House, so he'd pack what little he had and run. Without purpose or money, Cecil would simply wander. Until the day he met Gaia. An older man, and the last user of an ancient form of magic. Gaia took pity on the boy, and offered to shelter him, and teach him what he knew, to better prepare Cecil for whatever lay ahead of him. For the next two years, Cecil would go through extensive, grueling, agonizing training. Learning first to wield martial weapons, then to summon them. Gaia would elaborate on the origins of this magic, saying that it was born of something Divine, a magical art once used by Angels centuries ago, during the war to save Humanity. It was said that they could summon great weapons of Divine Light, and this art, known as Armiger, was a mere mockery of that.

For reasons unknown, Cecil struggled to use this magic. He'd manage to mark objects with his seal, and they would disappear, but he could never summon them back... Further, Gaia stated that every Armamancer could use their soul to form their True Weapon; a physical representation of their soul, and their experiences. It would evolve and reform as the Mage grew stronger... but Cecil struggled with this as well.

Until the day the Marauders came. Being outside of a major city, and no where near any villages, Gaia's farm was a prime target. No longer able to defend himself, and Cecil unable to fight due to being severely outnumbered, Gaia perished and the farm was razed... Forced to once again run, Cecil would find himself face to face with fate once more. This time however, Fate would change his life entirely.
