Our characters were rebellious teenagers together and my parents sent me away to military school with the hope that it would change my ways but it didn't. He was abused and when he returned he confronted his parents and ran away, confessing his feelings for your character and asking her to come with him.

Our characters are trying to make time for each other during the Second World War when I'm a busy RAAF pilot. This plot will focus on an exchange of photos and romantic letters and meeting up during leave, you could also get a job on the base as a radio operator or something. Or if you're not into the whole WW2 thing it can just be a couple navigating life and trying to run a brewery together while raising a family.
