[rules] always a wip.

hi everyone! while carys isn't too big on rules, she can be that way because *i* actually care about them.

i'll try and keep this short and sweet, but this info is super important, so please pay attention. if you can't play by these rules, we are not going to be compatible partners. c'est la vie.

1. you add, you message first! i will do the same. if i accept your request and you have not sent me a message in 48 hours AND i see that you have been active, i'm just going to delete you. that said, you can absolutely reach out again, no hard feelings. the same rules apply the 2nd time around, and so forth.

2. please message ooc first. i'm not my character, and i would prefer we discuss at least a rought plot outline ooc first before diivng into our story. i also just love joking around with my writing partners and having a good time.

3. *because* i am not my character, i write in the 3rd person *only* - if you're a 1st person writer, we will not be compatible. to add to that, obvious self-insert characters are not my cup of tea.

4. i type in lower case out of rp for the aesthetic! i am a product of my generation. that said, i absolutely use proper grammar/spelling/punctuation when roleplaying, and i expect my partners to do the same. nobody's perfect, and as a bilingual baddie, i completely respect folks who are writing in their second or third language! that's super hard, so props to you! that said, i am expecting "literacy" (which i know is a broad term), or a certain degree of fluency. detail is also super important. overall, bad writing just really takes me out of the story.

5. i expect multi-para responses from my partners, because that's what i give - minimum *two* detailed paragraphs, please. i will definitely give more. however, i will not be giving, nor expecting, novella replies either. i can, but we'll chat about that if that's something you're interested in.

6. yes, i roleplay adult themes. not just *spicier* adult themes, but darker internal human struggles. no, i am not here for just a quick hook up. i need story, i need drama, i need character development (both my character and yours)! if you're looking for a quick f***, i'm not your girl.

7. i'm busy and often drowning in work, so if i am not online, or not replying, i am probably just taking care of those obligations. if you are looking for someone who can reply every day, that is not always me - i also hate when someone bumps our conversation after a day.
