Avery is a university student, she's the most gently, caring person you'd ever meet.
She's working her best, studying while having a part time job to cover her expenses.
She was taught to earn her place in the world, and that is what she is doing.
She's studying engineering, and will one day become the person of her dreams.
Currently, she's just sleep deprived, high on energy drinks and coffee, and wants a distraction.

Avery grew up in a small, loving family. They weren't well to do, but had everything they could need.
Her parents both worked, and Avery was in charge of her siblings, and at night, when everyone was in bed, she'd sit up with her parents and they'd talk for hours, sharing their dreams, and Avery vowed then that she would let them expirence it.
This is why she's working so hard, to give her parents back what they'd sacrificed for her and her siblings.

She achieves her dreams, earns her degree and works her ass of to be who she wants to be.
She earns the fame and fortune she'll possess.
She never let's it get to her, though. She still works just as hard as before.
