STORY // PROLOGUE
“I made a big mistake. There's a new amalgamate. One that has a entire human soul in it. Asgore is going to kill me- I'm scared.”
E N D O F L O G

Seven souls were needed to break the barrier and let the monsters free.
There have been 5 so far, and the 6th one has just arrived.
₽ΑΤΙΕΠCΕ.
You see, this SOUL was a simple girl. She loved to dance, sing, write, and what Alphys had loved most? Mess with tech.
She had volunteered to help Alphys with a new... project.
''If we combine Monster souls with the DETERMINATION of a human soul...
I think we can use it to cross the barrier.''
This young soul was eager to help Alphys, and went to Snowdin Town to get monsters who wanted to volunteer.

As the monsters were injected with DETERMINATION,
They began to melt together into strange, new beings. And one of the newfound ''amalgamates'' had leeched onto ''PATIENCE''. Begging her to make the cold pain go away. A monsters' SOUL couldn't handle human properties.

As Alphys stood in the hallway, frozen in shock, the poor girl turned to dust, leaving nothing but her SOUL behind.
When Alphys gained the courage to come down to face her mistakes, one of the Amalgamates was missing.
The one with the human SOUL.

P1 // AN INKING MISTAKE

The newly-created Amalgamate sat on the floor of the lab, weak, tired, with no memory.
Unlike the other Amalgamates, this one was different. It wasn't a mere hive-mind, but a new being.
It only felt in some parts of its' body.
It was dripping black and white goo onto the floor. As the creature collapsed on with a strange groan, it closed its' tired eyes.
Until it was jolted up by a random splash of purple paint on the floor of the abandoned, dark lab which remained dormant for a bit - until a new being effortlessly emerged from the paint splotch.
In front of the sad being was a semingly happy, bright skeleton with pupils that were constantly changing shape and color, a paint brush on it's back, a brown scarf (and brown hoodie wrapped around his waist), with a blue shirt to top it off. The most notable thing was a sash of multiple vials of many different colors; The most notable one being a big vial with a strange, glowing purple liquid.
The skeleton approached with a concerned look on it's face, no sound heard besides the groaning of creatures and the footsteps of the skeleton's messy brown boots.
''You look- sick,'' it said with a tilt of it's head. ''Well, thankfully I'm here for ya!'' he said with a chuckle. ''Don't worry, I'm sure Alphys has enough stuff in the inner lab for me to fix ya up,'' he says, looking around for supplies and putting a few things down on the counter. ''No idea if you can even understand me, buut... I'm Ink!'' he said with a bright smile.
The Amalgamate tried to wave before what it called a ''hand'' went back into it.
Ink began making a new set of vials! One that would bring this 'sad lil' thing' back to it's... 'former?' glory. And eventually, it worked!
He splashed the vial onto the Amalgamate, and after a few hours, the process was complete, and the form resembled the most powerful soul - Patience!

Shiiitt, you managed to read all of that? Sorry for how lengthy this is! I've been working on this OC for a WHILLEEEE.
There's uh... MUCH more. Sooo, lemme give ya what she looks like now that she's not a puddle of slop!!

★ skin: white (not tan, literally the color white)
★ hair: black, runs halfway down her back, often in low-hanging pigtails with purple ties
★ body type: curvy
★ not too gooey anymore, but has to take 2 vials per. day to maintain that
★ ALWAYS wears chest armour to protect her soul (an easy target, since it glows through her white 'skin')
★ height: 5'6
★ main two colors: black and white, with minor colors beng blue and purple
★ eyes: purple, with thick black eyelashes
★ similar to ink, she carries a paintbrush on her back (that she's still learning to use) with paints on a black belt with blue buckles
★ black boots

P2 // A new life...?

The amalgamate began to call herself 'Laura', a name that Ink reccomended - the two became quite close. Laura would accompany Ink on missions, learn how to fight and paint... though, she did screw up quite often!
She was often by his side - and when she wasn't asked to partake in a mission, she was either with Blueberry or Dream.
Her life was perfect! Er, until it wasn't.
Ink began to grow twisted as his true intentions showed... those involving the X Event.
One day, Ink took Laura on an 'important' mission.
''I need to take you somewhere. It's important,'' Ink said, his eyes beginning to lose their once colorful light. Dream and Blueberry began to notice this too - but didn't say anything.
That was until it was too late.
Ink had brought Laura into the universe where the X event was being held, and was going to take the anomaly of code she was to help fuel their world.
But - before that happened, she managed to break free and paint a portal out, where she kept running for a while.

As she ran, and ran, she became one of the more... secretive multiverse protectors. Changing her looks so she wouldn't be noticed, and watching over things. Now that Ink was... 'gone', she felt it her duty to do his work. And there, she made many friends, many enemies, and had saved many verses.
But there was one person she'd ran into many, many times. Error - a destroyer of universes, one who was almost the direct opposite of her.
Error never really noticed Laura when she was nothing but Inks' apprentice. But now that she's on her own? She's been seen.
And that was when things took a turn for her.

P3 // Lady Laura of the Anti-void

Error decided that Laura was getting too... involved for his liking. He'd took her to the Anti-void to discuss this, but eventually the two developed a bond over their shared hatred for Ink. And, well, that's where a friendship started.
Laura agreed to stop saving AUs and let the others take care of it... and team with Error to stop the X-Event.
You see, Laura, being easily impressionable, started to act more like Error, gaining some of his personality traits. She wasn't exactly copying him, but moreso realizing she was like him.
There were PLENTYY of times where they wanted to obliterate eachother - but they haven't, yet!
That's all I got to write so far, so here's Lauras' P3 personality!!
