Alright. We've all done this before, innit? Let's just get the formalities out of the way.
1. LET'S TALK: If you add me, you talk! If I add you, same deal. I think that one is a must, yeah? If there's an issue or a concern, let's ALSO talk about it openly and respectfully. Misunderstandings happen. If you don't communicate your problems, how do you expect to evolve into a decent adult?
2. LET'S WRITE: I appreciate literate writers who can whip up at least half a paragraph (that's three sentences, by the way). Third-person perspective only, please. You know? Like in a book.
Quick one-liners don't quite do it for me, and they tend to make things quite dull.
3. LET'S DISCUSS: Before diving into the roleplay, let's have a quick chat to plan things out, alright? I'm not one to jump straight into it without a bit of preparation.
While I've come across some cool folks here who do that, many seem a tad pushy. Please, let's keep it cool and considerate.
4. LET'S BE FAIR: Please refrain from taking control of my character or their actions. I know my characters inside out, so let *ME* handle their reactions and behavior, alright?
5. LET'S HAVE COMMON SENSE: A dash of common sense goes a long way. If I express discomfort or say no to something, I genuinely mean it. While it doesn't happen very often, I'll be sure to express myself when it does. Ignoring that might lead to some choice words, or maybe even worse. So let's respect each other's boundaries, capiche?
6. LET'S POSITIVE THINKING: Not exactly a rule, but something worth noting: I'm not one to judge. You do you; I'm all for it. Just keep in mind that differing opinions exist, and let's handle that like proper adults. I'm here to enjoy myself, not looking to stir up any problems.
7. LET'S GO OUR SEPARATE WAYS: If things don't work out well, then perhaps it truly is best to just let it go. My goal is to have fun and create a compelling story, but even I understand that this is impossible sometimes. I prefer to end things on a high, respectful note, hopefully, you're one and the same.
