Luka.
Born in Dresden Germany, Luka was raised by his mother Emmeline May.
Much earlier than his poor story begins. Emmeline May and Fynn Widder married, only months out of graduating highschool.
Emmeline came from nothing, an orphan. Lost her parents far too young and grew up with a fake smile and fake image to those around her. Nobody was close, the life of the party was what they’d call her. Popular and reckless in nature. She wasn’t ever expected to make it far in life, known for her unusual behaviour when it came to her teens.
Fynn was nearly the exact opposite, He came from an upper middle class family. Religious and hard working. Long line of military work, his father and grandfather and almost every man was deployed directly after their 18th birthday and he was destined to follow much the same.
Emmeline and Fynn met in their young teens and though at first they couldn’t stand eachother. Fynn became the only person who could see past the fake smile Emmeline wore.
This isn’t about them however.
They married, Emmeline found out her pregnancy and told Fynn. The day before he was deployed to a war.
Fynn didn’t return until Luka was two years old. His mother had done her best with no help and mental conditions that often made her wish to give up and give in. Her only source of happiness was Fynn and their love and yet that was gone too. Days she resented her son and days she praised him.
Lukas childhood was not well. His father would come back and leave all the same, they’d fight and they’d yell and fynns parents never accepted the marriage. Never wanted to meet their children.
Soon his younger brother was born 3 years after him. Elise.
Then Anni came far later than that.
His mother was ill,mentally that is. She raised her children without a shoulder in the world to lean on. She did what she had to and she went crazy for it too.
Fynn would come and he’d go. Eventually he stayed for the last time, Luka was 8. He’d watched his mother spiral for years, he’d raised his siblings. Anni was just a baby. Elise was far too angry. She’d done things unforgivable and yet Luka could never hate her. Some sense of understanding that even he didn’t really understand, maybe it was cause he had to grow up much younger than others.
Emmeline left this time when Fynn came home. It was odd he barely knew his father. His mother spoke of him like a hero than a villain and perhaps a hero again. She couldn’t make up her mind and he kinda got why.
But nevertheless, he only ever had her and now it was only his father. Things were strange and touch and go.
When she’d come back they’d fight. When she’d bring men around they’d fight. When she’d turn up with marks on her arms from needles , they’d fight.
Luka was eight when his father k*led himself. In the same night his mother packed up a backpack for each of them and they left.
(The area in which they move to is subject to the plot decided but for practical sense I’ll say america as it’s his original story line)
America was strange.
He grew up not understanding very much. His mother went off the deep end the second they found a place to call their own. Leaving him at eight years old to pick up the slack.
Not that he wasn’t entirely use to it.
She’d come and she’d go and eventually Luka stopped letting her see Elise and Anni, not that they minded but it was a choice. She wasn’t well, she’d dabbled in things he didn’t agree with letting the younger ones see and it was ok because Emmeline had always sought out Luka in her anger. Maybe it was because he resembled his father to closely in Apperance.
He made friends. He lost them and made new ones.
Milo was his best friend, nearly a brother. Another kid who moved here from somewhere else. They’d clicked immediately.
It wasn’t until he reached highschool that he noticed his direct similarities with his mother, wasn’t till he met Daniel Cyrus. That he finally understood what he never understood before.
Daniel was much older, a senior in highschool when he was a freshman. Daniel was charming and friendly, he was a face the school loved. Luka included. He for a puppy love crush on him far to quickly and Daniel noticed him because he was far to loud.
Daniel was nice, and people thought it sweet that he’d taken a freshman under his guidance.
They didn’t know , neither did Luka that it wasn’t just that.
It was only a couple months into knowing daniel that he took him out after school. Luka had fallen head over heels for him, he never thought it odd that this eighteen year old wanted anything to do with him.
Luka realized quickly why love was his mothers downfall. He realized because daniel was sick and Luka began to believe it was ok.
As long as you don’t leave me. You may abuse me in any way.
Began their relationship.
Things unimaginable happened with daniel,
(And depending on how old Luka is at start is depending on far he’s gotten)
However luka doesn’t begin to get sober until he’s twenty years old after daniel introduced him to dr*gs at 15. (Also subject to change based on opinion)

Apperance:
Though I hate to say outright that Luka is attractive I’d be lying to say he isn’t. A well known choice of descriptive wording used with Luka in the eyes of other characters is the factor that he is good looking even if it is in the probably dying and never slept sort of light.
Luka has somewhat curly/wavy messy pale blonde hair, and Hazel/Bloodstone eyes.
Being mainly green but red in the Center portion,
He is lanky , thin in structure. Much due to neglect and improper care in his early life though not that he does any better for himself now. He has some muscle but he’s definitely not at a healthy weight area. He’s got some scars nothing that’s directly noticeable upon first glance just small ones here and there, including old SH marks (can be not mentioned if it’s trigger material for anyone) ,
He often dresses in oversized clothes but a lot will where more shameful clothing to.
Overall he’s fairly non plain but plain looking ? At points. Besides the entire looks like he’s dying and has a history of misuse vibes.
Though he tends to were darker clothes! Reds and blacks, sometimes whites.
He’s also 5’7 in height.

Personality:
When it comes down his personality, it often depends what time area I’m putting him into. Though I won’t play him under 18 years old,
Overal Luka is a bit of a loud mouth. He is shamless at times and often far to much for most people to handle, he pairs best with more assholish type characters or loner vibe characters though he has and can be paired with more upbeat ones but often times it’s not his best choice! Though he gets along with them great unromantically.
Luka likes to egg on partners. M*sochistic in nature, he enjoys pushing people to reactions and finds possessiveness amusing.
Luka is not a character meant for the faint of heart. He’s impulsiveness and can be toxic at times. His character isn’t meant to be a picture perfect person because he is not, he is incredibly human. He has faults and good qualities too. He has struggles and insecurities and in-depth love and excitements all the same,
His story follows a line of recovery. It will not be an overnight thing and your characters comfort will not cure him.
As I said, Luka is to much very often. It makes him real.

Obviously I’m willing to discuss anything I’m very very open minded to things , mostly but will Inform you otherwise! Please do feel free to discuss, I’d absolutely love to!
The only add in I really have is Luka struggles with his mental health, he has what I’ve diagnosed out of writing as borderline personality disorder and I do not intend to change his character in the sense of making him “happy go lucky”, my want is for him to be realistic and I’ve been working on and using his character for 5 years now. He has a lot of depth !
