Former performer and circus troupe leader, Kuruka met a crippling fate working with an enraged young red dragon that ripped away both his left limbs. Coincidentally, the dragon escaped and his best friend disappeared that same night, leaving Kuruka to recover and rebuild their life alone.

He has spent the last three years honing a rather new skill in metallurgy and an interest in magic items. Recent rumours of his old friend making a name for herself have resurfaced among traveling circus troupes and they've set out on their own to find her.
