: an unexpected interference
A and B had the perfect relationship. After becoming a couple and high school and moving together in college, everything seemed ideal. There were issues of course, arguments and other flaws, but they always seemed to come back stronger. That was until A had to leave for a few months - for a career opportunity, to study abroad, whatever reason. Distance doesn't always make the heart grow fonder as they began to drift apart. Both hated it was happening, but it was not yet irreparable. No, that came when A had to admit a truth they had been trying to hide.

While away, they made a mistake and cheated. Twice.

At that point the relationship broke. B told A to only contact them when they had come back to pick their stuff up from their shared apartment and then leave their life completely. If they listened or not it didn't matter, as A would not be able to contact B until returning to the apartment they had once shared once back in town. While A was torn up about the entire ordeal, B had seemingly moved on to a mysterious individual, C.

This person was by B's side the entire time A and B reunited, supportive and all around seemingly perfect. It was even more heartbreaking, but A could tell something about C was just wrong. Perhaps it was heartbreak and desperation, but A's hunch led them to discover something horrifying. C was not human and their intentions with B were anything but the ideal whirlwind romance C had swept B up in.

//Basically, you know how there's sometimes that one character in supernatural romances insisting that the inhuman character has evil intent? For this idea, they're actually right. I'm not opposed to switching the reason they broke up from cheating, but ideally there will be something to cause a lack of trust so B doesn't believe A.

I would prefer to write as B! I have a few ideas for how to write C as well, but if you want to write C as well you're welcome to! While this doesn't have to end with a romance between A and B rekindling, I want the focus to be on the relationship between A and B and not B and C//
