Description:
Lorraine, or Lorri as close friends and family called her, was born into the del Monte family. The del Monte’s were notorious for being one of the 5 working families of the mafia at that time. Her father, Alexander, spoiled his daughter. After having 3 boys, Lorraine was the little princess of the household. She was brought up with elegance and manners and she was the ideal woman, aside from her mother Sofia. She was incredibly smart, with a sharp mind that could cut through the haze of deceit and manipulation that lingered in the corridors of power in their world.
From a young age, Lorraine watched and listened, absorbing the intricacies of her family's business like a sponge. Her father would bring her to business meetings, and called her “mi elefante” or my elephant, due to her impeccable memory. No one dared slip up in front of La Elefante. In a world where loyalty was everything, Lorraine was a force to be reckoned with. Her instinct for strategy and negotiation surpassed even the most seasoned veterans in the family. She valued her father’s words and if he was no longer in connection with any of the families, well neither was she.
As children, if her food weren’t exactly on her plate the way she asked, she’d rather starve herself. Alexander noticed this about his precious daughter and took her to get help, she had OCD or rather it’s more manageable now as an adult. Her exactness and pickiness leaked into her preferences in men. Lorraine doesn’t enjoy showing her face in society; when she does, men throw themselves at her feet. She was oblivious most of the time when it came to men and their affections, she valued her education and family above all else. she had many proposals, but she rejected them all. She had her first kiss and sexual experiences but to be in love with someone? the thought was foreign. She knew they all craved power or rather, her father’s power. Everyone knew the lengths Alexander would go to for his daughter, killing a man was minuscule by comparison.
She knew never to meddle in the men’s business, she wanted no part in it. Her father taught her how to run the business if, god forbid, all her brothers pass. It would be a freak accident indeed, nonetheless, she knew the business in and out, and she could fight exceptionally well, shoot and aim exceptionally well. Her brothers hated playing with water guns or paintball or any activity that involved Lorraine and having to aim.
Lorraine's brothers often teased her about being their father's favorite, but they also respected and admired her skills and intelligence as well as adored their baby sister.
