Otis was born into a well-respected family, his father was an artist and his mother was an actress. He grew up going to a private school in Montreal, which is where he discovered his talent for singing.

Otis was a prodigy, people loved his voice, so much so that he won all the talent shows from his elementary to his high school life. But it wasn’t being naturally good at singing where Otis got his talents, he had grown an ability called a Stand. The Stand allowed him to be proficient in any instrument he could touch and be unnaturally skilled in singing, which made him godlike when it came to music. When Otis graduated from high school, he was approached by a record label company and offered a multi-record deal, which he accepted.

His first year as a singer was perfect, having instantly risen to fame. At the age of twenty, however, Otis began falling into a deep depression due to his fame and a lot of pressure from the record company. He had started a bad habit of chain smoking and started writing sadder and sadder songs.

At the age of twenty-one, Otis’ father passed away from liver cancer. The news broke Otis as his father was the closest person he ever had and his true supporter. In order to cope with his father’s passing, Otis developed an alcohol addiction. He would drink almost every single day, trying his best to bottle his grief.

During one of Otis’ drink fests, he encountered a man attempting to sexually assault a woman, Otis tried to stop the assault but the man became physically aggressive with Otis, which is when his Stand activated. His Stand, which Otis named Suffergrate City, let out a scream at such a high frequency that it blasted the man with a supersonic wave and caused permanent deafness.

This was when Otis found his calling, the only thing that can make him forget about the depression and anxiety from his fame and the pain from losing his father was to fight pieces of sh*t like that would be rapists and make Montreal a safer place.
