Familial Relationships: Stela was abandoned by her parents on the doorstep of a Czech orphanage with nothing but her name. Her only family was the other kids in the orphanage, especially since the caretakers were very abusive and so the bonds formed between the children were vital. Stela took care of the younger children, since she was often the oldest, and would often times allow herself to be the subject of the abuse rather than the others. This protective behavior is what led to many calling her Sis or Auntie. Although she has immigrated to the United States and lost contact with many of the children she grew up with, Stela wouldn't hesitate to help them if they ever reached out.
