After having their first-born child, a daughter named Mary, Clark and Lois Kent wanted a second child but had a small problem - Lois became infertile after her first birth. The parents tried to do everything to make another child but to no avail. When the parents started to consider adoption something magical happened, a shooting star crashed in their front yard in Conway, New Hampshire.

When they checked the crater, there was a baby boy wrapped in a blanket, crying. The parents were confused about how the baby even survived something like that but took him inside and cared for the baby for the following weeks. When they learned that besides the fact the baby came from a shooting star, he was perfectly normal so they decided to adopt him.

They named the baby William and raised him as their own. They gave him an amazing life, giving him and his older sister the same treatment and raising them into being the most wonderful humans possible.

However, at the age of thirteen, William did something completely unimaginable - he started to fly. His feet lifted off the air and he flew high into the air, before coming back and touching the ground. He and his family were all terrified but decided to keep it quiet and speak about it the next day. But that night William had a dream that explained everything.

He came from the planet Satera. His species are the Saterian, but they were commonly known as the Children of the Stars throughout the galaxy. Very special Saterians are sent out to protect more vulnerable planets via shooting stars, William was the Saterian dispatched to Earth to protect the planet.

William woke up the next morning and told his parents about his dream, and they confirmed that he did indeed arrive from a shooting star. It was very difficult to believe, but he came soon to learn how to control his powers (mostly). He wanted to be Earth’s Protector, but his parents forbade him from doing so. Though he might have these amazing powers he was still vulnerable to feeling pain, and they couldn’t risk the thought of losing their little boy.

William, now going by the nickname Billy, continued to live his life as “normally” as possible. Got a job as a journalist for the local newspaper and soon moved out to live on his own. Maybe now he can use his powers for good without his parents knowing.
