name ⤻ As far as they know, they go by the name Herb, given to them by their "friend", Royle
age ⤻ Because of their memory assumingly being completely wiped somehow in someway, Herb hasn't the slightest clue how old they are.
Despite this, they look like they're still in there early 20's, or an older teenager, with their youthful appearing face and body
gende ⤻ Like many of the other things on this list, Herb doesn't know what gender they are, infact, they don't even have a sense of gender. Their occasional visitor, Royle, isn't sure what Herb is either.
At first he figured Herb to be a male, but then later after seeing their wings, a female, but now? He's accepted that he doesn't have a clue what Herb's sex and gender identity is, nor does he care that much!
pronouns ⤻ They reply to any pronouns, as long as its made clear that they're being talked to or referenced
species ⤻ The first assumption of what species they are usually is that they're an angel, because of the wings on their back, which might be true, but also might not be. Whatever the truth is, Herb is again, no help
꒰ APPEARANCE AND VOCALS ⸾ ☆
skin ⤻ They have peach colored skin that is heavily freckled and looks tanned in some places, like across their nose bridge spreading to their cheeks
face ⤻ Their face is very oval shaped, which helps their wide, upturned, eyes that always seem to be halfway shut, like they're soon to doze off
eyes ⤻ Fitting their skin color, Herb's irises are a dark honey color. A unique thing about their eyes is the glazed and glassy look, sort of like a doll's eyes?
hair⤻ Herb has very short, dirty blonde hair. It can be described as a choppy, messy, pixie cut, either done in a fit of rage or rushed. Because of this, Herb's ears stick out, due to them not having naturally pinned back ears like others do
wings and feet ⤻ Of course, I could never forget Herb's wings and feet! Now, their wings, they're not what you're thinking probably, you see, Herb doesn't have arms. No, infact, they have wings, instead.
A downfall of having wings for arms is they're small.. not small enough to see, just small enough where she can't even fly with them; even holding things is difficult, unfortunately
Now, onto the looks of their wings! They're a soft melted butter color, with a scare amount of feathers.
For their feet, think of big bird's feet, now imagine his upper feathers shaved off, yeah, thats pretty much what Herb's feet look like, like actually bird feet.
Her feet coloring is a honey brown while her talons, which are surprisingly short, are a dirty mud brown color. I wouldn't actually doubt if they're caked with mud, actually
height and weight ⤻ Standing at 5'6, their height is considered average for a human, same with their weight, which is 130 pounds!
voice ⤻ Herb's voice usually sounds hoarse and dry, like they just woke up with a cold and are dealing with a bad case of a parched, sore throat
However, when situations become tricky or overwhelming, their voice becomes more soft and quiet, making them have to repeat themself a lot

personality ⤻ Herb is a curious individual, not shy on taking chances, even if they're dangerous. A downfall to this trait is that they're VERY spontaneous and doesn't think things through all the time when deciding things
Being assumed to be blunt and without a filter.. is, true. Herb speaks their mind and sometimes says things without actually meaning to say them out loud, despite this, Herb usually has good intent when they're painfully blunt! Plus, they don't think that what they're saying might be rude, because, well, they're just being honest?
Another thing about Herb is that they dont catch metaphors and sarcasm sometimes.
The ones they do catch, is usually because Royle had to explain that he wasn't being literal
They tend to have what seems like an unlimited amount of creativeness! While this is a good thing, it is also a bad thing for them, as sometimes they have multiple ideas they want to fulfill, but don't have the necessary tools to do it, understanding to go on with it, and or time to actually act on those desires, which causes an uncomfortable overwhelming feeling to occur, either being on their shoulders, or lodged in their throat
likes and hobbies ⤻ While they do enjoy brush painting, the art they create is mediocre. Despite this, they consider the time, thought, and effort they put into making it, the true art
Other activities Herb enjoys participating in is as follows: Looking inside picture books (and anything that has pictures, pretty much!), baking and cooking, gardening, planting, listening to classical music, and her favorite of all, following Royle around! Wait no, it's actually petting Royle's horse, yeah, they like that the best!
dislikes and hates ⤻ Moving onto things Herb dislikes, with a few things they DESPISE as well!
They are not a sticky texture type person, as they say it makes them want to grind their teeth and rip out their feathers (hoo boy..!), especially if it's blueberries! Why would blueberries be sticky, you might be wondering? I don't know, ask them!
Their also not a big fan on the concept of money and working for money, nor do they like the sound of smell of money, especially pennies, despite them being rare nowadays
Oh, and sleeping with button up shirt on? Not for them, nope! The buttons bother their chest. Then again, they don't care for shirts anyways.. Even if they do have loose holes for their wings, they still don't like 'em

mental health ⤻ While Herb does show a small amount of traits related to a mental disorder, it isn't actually confirmed if they have any mental disorders or illnesses
It should be obvious from what I've written about them, but it's still required to be stated in this part. Herb has memory problems, they don't remember anything from their past before Royle found them.
Sometimes, after very traumatic events, they start to forget bits and pieces of what happened. As time goes on, they forget major parts, then forgets it ever happened
physical health ⤻ Herb has very sensitive wings, for example: Her feathers tend to fall out on random, flapping her wings for to long is painful, especially if at they flap them at a fast pace, inability to pick up medium sized things, like a random rock, just to name a few?
They can't walk in a straight line. They also limp a bit on their back leg sometimes, due to an old injury that they don't recall ever having before

royle ⤻ Royle was the first person to ever find her, or at least, from what they remember. They consider Royle their bestfriend, despite Royle's actions of showing them off as some kind of freakshow and occasional verbal abuse

bio ⤻ Herb was raised by a man, who was known to be the "crazy person of the village"
He wasn't all the way crazy, just the after effects of the apocalypse messed up his brain unfortunately. Yet, others experienced worse, but that's not important!
The man called himself "TinTin", as he loved the movie and comics of TinTin, which now was a faded memory, only faintly known. Trying to pick up the pieces of his old life, he believed he was a sailor named TinTin, who had a dog, despite the fact he could and still can't swim and is allergic to dogs
He found Herb in a large nest, (like the one big bird had!), with no others that looked to be similar to their kind around. Assuming the worst, he took pity on the young infant, taking them in and raising them as their own
He named her Pecka, because of her bird features.
Pecka wasn't allowed to go out, due to TinTin fearing that the others would treat her like some kind of freakshow.
Despite being this, she was allowed to paint! She enjoyed painting, despite not being good at it
Not knowing the proper diet to feed Pecka, TinTin just gave her human food, hoping that would work. Well, she did eat human food, but only because TinTin did, and she looked up to, because of the stories of his apparent adventures he went on. She figured that if she ate and did what TinTin did, she would be just like him when she got older
This caused irreversible damages to her wings, as feathers would fall out a lot, weak wing bones as well arthritis on certain parts of her wings. Yet, TinTin didn't take her to the village's doctor, still fearing that they would take away his sweet, sweet Pecka
As Pecka got older, TinTin's guilt grew stronger and stronger. One day, he made a rash decision, that he knew he would regret, but assumed it would be for the best
He took Pecka far away from the village, and told her that he was letting her go. At first, she protested, and tried to stay with him, until he threatened to hurt her, which lead to Pecka running away while TinTin chased her until he lost full sight of her
While running away, Pecka got her back leg trapped on a wire. As she struggled to free herself, she made the injury worse, causing her to forever limp on it as well as a heavy, obvious scar around her ankle
After she freed herself, she continued to run, stumbling occasionally, worsening her pain, yet she continued on. Finally, she found herself a small yet nice sized house, that while heavily damaged, was sturdy enough for Pecka to stay there
In the morning, she had forgotten everything. Then Royle found her, where he saw dollar signs looking at her. From then on, Pecka, or Herb, was, and still is, shown off as a freakshow, with Royle as her "Tamer"
