Ideal plot: Less "plot" more just a world setting. In Finley's native homeland there are all kinds of people living together, misconceptions abound, and harmony is an illusion. Shifters are legally not allowed to assume a form void of their bestial attributes when in public; tails, ears, paws; at least one attribute must be manifested for all to see at all times, when in public. It is not uncommon for racism/speciesism to rear its ugly head.
