Nixus

“By the sword we live, and by the swords we die”.

Levi hadn’t realised how difficult it was being a runaway convict who was wanted by the entire empire. He ran without a plan, without any way of knowing what he wanted to know, of fixing what he wanted to fix.

But he couldn’t blame himself. He wanted to get away- lno, he needed to get away. The empire had been his family for so many years, raising him up as a child, giving him military training from the age of 7 to try and fulfil his ‘destiny’ of being a soldier. They promoted him into the army at 14 since he held the sword like it was his favourite toy - Levi was what they called a “natural-born”.

But still, Levi wasn’t satisfied. There were questions he had asked for years only to get the most vague answers if any answers at all. He was a baby who was found by the queen herself in her carriage, brought up as one of her own since all she ever had were daughters and Levi knew her majesty loved him deeply. But this wasn’t about her, this was about everyone but her. Everyone who called him “impure”.

The king, generals, lords, anyone who was threatened by his skill and power gave him the hardest time possible. He never grew the courage to ever call the Queen mother or anything like that, because they probably would’ve killed him as a threat to the bloodline.

So standing with his sword drawn towards a flame, hooded up with three other members of ‘Nixus’ around him wasnt the best option, but it was the best option he had right now. They took him in seeing he was a stray on the streets and he had been a member of this cult ever since.

Their goal - to overthrow the empire.
