appearance ⤻ With his soft peach skin, height of 5'5 / 165 cm, rectangular body that weighed an average 130 lbs / 58 kg, uncombed amber brown hair, slightly slanted round eyes followed by a nubian shaped nose and tight, pursed lips, he isn't one to stand out in crowds usually.

Although difficult to spot from a far and even up close, he does have a few features that tell him apart from others! Like how his face is scattered with scare freckles, his pierced ear lobes that hold a shiny pale periwinkle type circle gear, or how his eyes remind people of seaweed due to their dark green irises?
One feature that many who need or want him look out for is a low ponytail that matches his hair color, bouncing up and down and left and right, though!

personality ⤻ He prefers to keep to himself and keeps small talk to minimum, but if possible, won't make small talk at all. Not out of pride though, he does this out of shame of himself.

However, while it is rare for him, he will strike up a conversation with someone and ignore how he assumes they feel based on their facial expressions. Yet the conversations are usually something like confrontation, passive aggressive questions to suspicious behavior, and so on. Got a wild hair up their ass, I suppose? (i'm so sorry i think that phrase is so funny i love using it sm hftbh)

Somewhat good at reading facial expressions, he has a habit of assuming people's emotions, whether it's right or wrong, he acts and or responds how he thinks would be the correct way if he wanted to avoid conflict.
Although, this does lead to him frequently overthinking, especially with people he doesn't know.

Despite being good-ish at reading facial expressions, he sucks at understanding some jokes, taking them literally, catching on to sarcastic remarks and sarcasm in general, connotations, and reading body language.

He is also known to decide things rather to quickly, miss some major details of the past, and forget to take others emotions into consideration when overwhelmed.

To sum it up, they're just an anxious, awkward ball of confusion, clumsy forgetfulness, and good intent that tends not to go as he intended. A half elf that is seemingly too many to just be a reserved shy or boring man, when in their core, they hide unresolved trauma and such that they keep ignoring.

quirks ⤻ While he doesn't have many quirks to him, he does a few that I think are worth noting!

Like how he always puts his hair into a loose ponytail, and how he prefers not to brush his hair on occasions when he knows or thinks he'll be putting his hair in a ponytail because he likes the messy way it looks

Or how he enjoys humming along to songs, sometimes he hums along when he doesn't even realize he's doing that! The reason why he does this is because he when he was younger, he wanted to be a bard

likes ⤻ They're a big fan of turnips and potatoes, as that's what they're mother used to grow! Really baggy pants, like those pants most parkour dudes wear, bro genuinely thinks they're stylish SOBS. Flowers of any and every kind! His favorite part of blacksmithing is
dislikes ⤻ Magic is one, never could understand it or get it to work for him unfortunately. The way the grungs and other lizard humanoids can lick their eyeballs like it's nothing, especially when he watches it, it's just.. ughgh! Cheese, he's not lactose intolerant or anything, they just hate that stuff because it's "iCkY", weak ass mf smh. Mining. He loves improving his blacksmithing skills, of course! But hates mining, he says it's because there's too many possibilities of death when in actuality he just doesn't like the clinking noise of the pickaxe

Bio ⤻ Being half elf was bad enough, but being born as intersex made things just more stressful for him. As his mother and father would often argue on which way they should be presented and raised as, which caused young Kaifer to feel like he caused problems for his parents due to something being horribly wrong with him.

In order to combat this, he developed a doormat personality, being a people-pleaser, something the other village kids found annoying. On top of that, he was also shy, sensitive, and known as a crybaby, which added to their dislike for him, unlike their older brother Kondirian, who was the polar opposite of him.
A charming, outgoing, thrill-seeking, and fun boy he would laugh along when he was made the joke of and insulted, he was. Kaifer was envious of his brother because of this.

To face his problems, Kaifer would respond by thinking about it very little or if possible, not at all. While unhealthy, it did work and helped him a lot. So much so, that even when his life was riddled with problems, they managed to seem completely unaffected by it all

As he got older, he never unlearned it, which created problems for him when his mother went missing and later assumed dead. Due to years of ignoring the problems in his life, he almost always seemed like he didn't care, which made his brother grow distant from him.
After she was assumed missing, the childrens' father, Siqil, decided to raise and present Kaifer the way she wanted him to be, as a male.

Years after the unfortunate loss of their mother, Kondirian left to adventure, leaving Kaifer the only one to take over the family business, much to his fathers disappointment.
Only two months later, Siqil died from old age. Thankfully though, before died, he taught and told Kaifer everything he needed to know about the family business and being a blacksmith, well.. except for the annoying man that kept asking to buy it and the home from him.

For a while, Kaifer never thought about selling the business or even the house, why would he? Who knew what that rich snobby elf's intent was to do to place if he sold it to him!

Yet, the temptation to become an adventurer like his brother, perhaps even find his brother along the way, and maybe even become a bard was starting to weigh in on him.
As stated before, Kaifer never unlearned that pesky defense mechanism of not thinking of things at all if possible, and as many of us know, when you don't unlearn those sorts of things, they'll become tangled and grow into something uglier.

Kaifer sold the house and the family business, packing some of his things and selling the rest, he began his journey.
Now age forty-five, he has seen many things, learned so much more than he could dream, and met many people, like that one time he accidentally interrupted a cults meeting, or how he learned that some races can lick their eyeballs.

He still hopes to meet his brother, unlike his old dreams of becoming a bard due to the little incident he had with that one cult of bards. A new goal has also arisen, try not to get roped into a gang of wannabe thieves.
