What Does Saint Patrick's Day Celebrate?

Just in case you don't know since it's coming up shortly here's a brief summary of it,.. and no it isn't about leprechauns, rainbows, shamrocks, four leaf clovers, wearing green, Celtic music, or pots of gold even though I love all of those things too.(Although green isn't exactly my color as I'm more partial to blue and yellow myself.) Especially Celtic music btw. :)


Anyways, What Saint Patrick is truly famous for is leading the Irish to me. Just a quick bit of trivia for you. Also, here's a question for everybody here, what ya'all see in corn beef is beyond me. I prefer a good old Shamrock Shake at the drive-thru from McDonald's any day. ;) Anyways, have a wonderful Saint Paddy's Day and let's all hope that spring hurries up fast alright? I'm personally getting sick and tired of winter and currently longing to see the flowers growing again.
