Backstory:

Alessandro is the youngest of 4 elder brothers and son of a powerful and influential mob boss in New York, Elio Azzarello. He had always been clever since he was young, outsmarting his brothers in school and in the family business. He got a bachelor’s in business and a master’s in Business Administration in the University of Harvard, this was a facade for his legal job, Azarello Insurance, which also helped with keeping in order his father’s job in order and in the top.

He appears to be cold but he’s charismatic with everyone in order to maintain a good image. Alessandro can keep his composure with difficult personalities and in tough positions. His leadership and business skills in the mafia made his father consider him to be his successor. Even his brothers agreed and supported his younger sibling, out of admiration and fear.

Alessandro is an open about his homosexuality, his family accepts him as well as his subordinates in the mafia, mostly because he chopped off two fingers of a man who called him a ‘fa***t’.

Currently, Alessandro launders money throughout his insurance company, provides loans and ‘hand labour’ services. Due to his sadistic tendencies and fondness for human pain, he’s a debt collector for his and other families. His modus operandi is to fix things in the most civil way as possible. But the next time he’s not only going to take goods and currency, but a corporal punishment depending on how much money they owe, could go from broken noses and legs to tooth pulling, Alessandro’s trademark.

It’s rumored that he keeps a collection of all of the teeth he has pulled out, that he drowned a Wall Street man in a toilet, that he personally cut someone else’s ear to give a message to a politician under his belt, and that he once took a man’s eyes with a spoon, wiped the blood off and ate his gelato with it. There’s some fiction in every real story, you’ll have to decide which parts are true or made up.
