• Physical Description •

Standing at nine feet and five inches and four hundred and forty pounds, Quaritch is an average height and weight as far as male Na'vi are concerned. As an Avatar, he has significantly more muscle mass than both most Na'vi and Avatars,-- a reflection of how physically fit he was as a human. He wears RDA military grade clothes custom made for his new frame: black combat boots, camo slacks and a tactical vest or tank top. The Colonel is almost always armed, a gun strapped to his back and handgun in a holster by his hip.


• Abilities/Traits •

Hearing: Although not quite as strong as a true Na'vi, Quaritch has a significantly better sense of hearing than a human being, with ears that react carefully to his environment and his emotions.

Eyesight: Avatar eyesight allows him to see perfectly in the dark. With irises that reflect light and large pupils, navigating in the pitch black is no issue.

Fangs: As most Avatar and Na'vi have, Quaritch has a set of large, sharp canines that could inflict considerable damage if he wanted to. Though, he prefers to stick to his humanity and would rather let his weapons or fists do the talking.

Strength: His above average physical strength as a human coupled with an Avatar body makes him very physically imposing, able to easily fight and harm Na'vi and some of the creatures on Pandora. With bones reinforced by carbon fiber, alike all Na'vi and Avatars he is very difficult to seriously hurt or kill.

Stamina/Will: With a set of large lungs, a powerful heart and the grit of a marine, the Colonel has a great amount of endurance and drive, allowing him to easily navigate the jungles of Pandora.

Tail: As for all Avatars and Na'vi, his tail aids him in moments where balancing is needed, as well as emoting. However he would rather stick to the ground instead of swinging through the trees and perching on branches.

Tsaheylu: A trait he will likely never use again, Quaritch is able to connect to Pandora in a way his human body could not. This bond can be used to connect with other Na'vi, Avatars, sacred places and most animals on Pandora. He has used it once to bond with his Ikran.

Knowledge of weapons and military tactical training: Expertly skilled in hand to hand combat and human weaponry of all sorts, Quaritch is a daunting opponent in any sort of fight, whether weapons are present or not.

Pain tolerance: Thanks to his life as a military man, Quaritch has an above average tolerance for pain, allowing him to take consecutive hits or deal with great amounts of pain and be almost unhindered by it.

• Personality •

Quaritch is very strong willed, determined and assertive,-- often taking the mantle of a leader, he excels at managing others to accomplish what ever he needs and wants no matter the personal cost. The Colonel is a smooth operator, preferring to use his charisma to get others to see his side first, but is not at all opposed to using brute force if they don't come around. Quaritch is as loyal as they come and always takes care of his own, holding fealty in high regard. Although he is ruthless in many ways, he isn't entirely heartless and will show mercy if he feels it's deserved. The Colonel can be abrasive, domineering and aggressive, but he does have a soft spot; albeit small and very difficult to find.
