— Raya’s story (lore)

Raya was a simple chao hybrid hedgehog, she was born with angel chao wings , her highlights pastel blue and yellow, and very angelic ..she was half angel chao with the power of the light and dark Gaia energy. The only reason why she is able to store the light gaia and dark Gaia energy was only because, her mother almost lost Raya before she was born..as her mother had no choice but to take in the energies so she could save her. The only issues was Raya was born with both energies and grew up having a hard time controlling it however, she was considered to be ageless !

She always love her family , when she was a pup they were always loving and sweet to her till it was her 15th birthday (quince) the day in her culture she was becoming a woman. While Raya was growing up ..the controlling actions from her mother was taking control…she had to act lady like, impress others to get a “partner” , of course she never liked anyone till she met one hedgehog by the name of Edward Quieroz…

Edward was her first love, her first partner and thought he was the one! Her family approved and was excited for her future. Days went by, months went by, even years ! But once she revealed her secret to only the light gaia energy..the honeymoon phase of the relationship came to an end ..

He went from love bombing and happy with her always to..manipulative , narcissistic . This was hard for raya , she trust him with all her heart while he cheated on her multiple times , never took consideration of the feelings , or never even show he loved her. Why did he do this ? To make her crack..

He wanted to see her dark Gaia energy..he wanted that power ! ! For he planned to keep on putting her in a chokehold till he got her light and dark Gaia energy till one day .. that was all going to change. Raya was ready to end everything with Edward even if her mother would be upset. She took the chaos emerald from her homeworld in case something were to happen for her intuition was strong

— DARK THEMES AHEAD ! !

She met up with Edward at night..it was quiet, dark, no one in sight in a secluded area, finally meeting up with Edward. He wasn’t happy, if anything he was supposed to be meeting up with another girl. You would think this break up would be easy with tears and a simple argument but it wasn’t ..

As soon as she stood her ground and told Edward this was a goodbye forever, Edward pushed her to the ground , grabbing a axe. He was livid , he was loosing her ! He didn’t even care about her anymore all her wanted was her power.

“I should’ve done this a long time ago…” Edward said before swinging the axe at Raya only to CHOP ! Her wings off. She froze , she looked her her wings that fell in front of her to the ground SCREAMING in pain ! It triggered the light gaia energy to create a force field made out of light energy! Quickly grabbing the chaos emerald to use it’s chaos control to go somewhere far far away from Onyx (her home town)

— she was now in Moebius. . .

Blood dripping down her back, blood glucose low, rapid shaking , screaming for help before she could pass out on the ground ..who would’ve saved her ?

In the chao garden before cream could go back home ..the chaos all had explanation points at the top of their heads, hearing the chao scream for help…all the chaos woke up in a huge group , grabbing cream as well as they headed towards the bloody scene. Raya was on the ground..bleeding…it was only a matter of time before the chaos could save her ! By the time they got to Raya’s unconscious body , they worked together to pick her up and charged to the chao garden while cream followed in a panic.

Once they got to the chao garden they quickly began to get some of the leafs that had natural sugars for her skin to take in, allowing her to wake up..she looked around unconsciously seeing the little rabbit and other chaos, quickly getting up in a panic wondering who they were..

Cream calmed her down grabbing a first aid-kit for chaos which had thick bandages and hydrogen peroxide to help wounds ..she saved Raya..and Raya would never forget the little rabbit and the chaos.

— months went by as she lived with her and vanilla for a while, she always went places with them as she saw fur/quill dye, and clothes that were more her style and not like it was back at home, vanilla of course bought the clothes but stole the fur/quill dye , what was she going to use that for ?

She decided to change her identity, she dyed her whole body covering up all angel chao like features, looking like a wilted rose. Once she was done she felt…better ? It rather made her feel stronger just looking back in the mirror seeing herself…telling herself …

“You are not the raya who was once weak and angelic..you’re a wilted rose..as from this day forward..be who you always wanted to be..”
