"Don't ask what happened, I can barley explain it to you." Daniel murmured, rubbing his eyes with his palms.

Meanwhile, Ben didn't know if he wanted to push for answers. On one hand he wanted to give in and ask a millenia of questions - on the other other hand he knew not to. On the other other hand, he knew better than wanting to know.

It first started with Daniel bringing up how "f***in' sad" it was that due to touring they'd miss hanging out with people back in Australia. Ever since that, Dan just acted different. Looked different. It's like he didn't even try to hide it. (Well, maybe he did. But he did a sh*t job at it.) Ben tried his hardest not to go too deep into details in the depths of his mind, for the sake of his own sanity. But it wasn't easy on any of the three of them. And Ben couldn't help but think Daniel was being unfair in that regard. Maybe a little selfish.

It was a sh*tty thought, don't get him wrong. He knew it was. Daniel was a great friend and person. He wasn't doing it on purpose and inconsiderate wouldn't be the first word he'd use to describe Daniel (maybe the 7th or 8th).

"Well," Ben started, voice a little sharp. "If you don't know how to describe it then I don't know what to say." His frown cut deep as always, and he stared dark brown holes into Dan who seemed to refuse eye contact. After prolonged silence, Ben stood and left his friend to it. As he left to the kitchen, he could only feel that the friendship was dwindling. A strong, irrational part of him wanted to say it was barley a friendship anymore anyways.
