ENTRY A-004: Nia/N-14

ENTRY A-004
----------------------
Name: Nia/N-14

Species: Quantum remnant/Pseudo-Archivist

Description:
▣ Stands at 4'11".
▣ Eyes are pale blue with white pupils.
▣ Appears flickering or translucent at times, but is always alight with a faint glow.
▣ Dressed in their former school uniform. The fabric has been altered, displaying an almost metallic or satiny appearance.
▣ Their arms are encased in bulky iridescent contraptions, marked N-14. While their body is not always tangible, these devices remain permanently solid, suggesting they act as a dimensional tether of sorts.
▣ Triangular fins where ears would be, not unlike that of Index. However, unlike other archivists, these appear to be frosty and crystalline in appearance, instead of dark metal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abilities:
▣ Similar to that of archivists such as Index, but they only appear to be able to apply words directly to themselves, and even THEN, only a limited set.
They have been observed to exert sudden bursts of strength and speed, pass through walls, or affect how much gravity is applied to them, as a few notable examples.

▣ Wields a shocking deal of electromagnetic radiation at their disposal.
Their presence tends to make most devices go haywire, whether they intend to or not. A calmer disposition tends to lessen this factor to a state where it causes no noticeable effects.
In addition to the field that surrounds them, they are also capable of creating large arcs of plasma to defend themselves.

▣ For the cost of a day's worth of energy, they can forcibly tear a portal in space large enough for them to pass through. This is saved for emergencies, as its use often requires a long and immediate sleep afterwards.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weapons:
▣ The large devices on their arms can cover their hands with a fist-shaped formation, allowing them to throw powerful blows with little harm to their person in turn.

▣ Able to superheat small pieces of metal and fire them at frightening speeds. For whatever reason, this subject prefers to use small coins as ammunition.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Behaviors:
▣ Unable to speak in any matter audible to human ears. However, most radios, or a world's equivalent thereof, are able to transmit it.

▣ Expressions are extremely limited, whether due to intentional effort or apathy is unclear.
Strong emotions have a direct impact on their ability to remain tangible, no matter which way their mood swings.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Origin:
With only fleeting recollection of their past life, this subject stands as the primary reason why archivists warn others not to follow them into the Pale Library.

The Pale Library is not a gateway to escape one's circumstances. It should never be treated as such.

Records suggest this individual was human prior to the Library Intrusion incident. No records exist as to how this individual continued to exist after being ripped into raw energy, let alone came to be in possession of Librarian technology. Archivist intervention suspected. Subject is stable for the time being, and will likely consider to be so against all odds. What has been done has been done, and we currently lack the authority to revert these changes.

Subject was last seen briefly passing through the Pale Library via temporary tunnels torn between worlds. This has become a frequent occurrence.
