Brief Backstory:
One small accident can drastically change one's course of life. A flicked cigarette in the dry grass, lighting an entire field to flames.

Rough housing on the bridge was never a good idea. All the kids knew it from the start. An accidental shove in the wrong direction sends a peer tumbling over the wooden rail with a spine tingling crack. Luckily for Michael, there was no witnesses. But how on earth is a fourteen year old supposed to muster up the courage to tell his mother of the incident? Would she believe it was an accident? Poor Michael peered over the edge of the bridge and stared down at the lifeless body of his once friend.

..what they don't know won't hurt them.

..right?

He begged and pleaded his mother to be homeschooled until she caved. He rarely left the house, he stopped contact with his peers and even outside family. This of course left him to reminisce on the incident, sleepless nights and busy minded days. All he could see was that mangled and broken body in the ditch below the bridge. But the more he saw it, the more he thought about it, the shiver along his spine turned pleasant. Just like a high, the feeling wears off and more is craved.

The body was found, a funeral was held, it was declared an accident on the child's part. Michael was never suspected, and so he pondered further into those bizzare thoughts.

..If he could get away with it once, surely he can again.
