Thea had been a young woman of 20 years as any other when she got happily married to a man named Jamie. He'd seemed like any other, but she loved him, and only him. To her, he was perfect, and he loved her too, so what was there to lose?

But with time, the perfect facade was starting to crack. Thea found out about his numerous addictions; drugs, alcohol, smoking, but the final nail in the coffin was when he was arrested for being part of a criminal gang. Understandably, she was heartbroken.

Two years later, when Jamie could finally reunite with his wife, the peace didn't last for long. With him out of jail, she had become a target as well, and together with her husband, she had to go into hiding, closer to the gang in question than she'd have wished. Knowing of what these people were doing day in day out... It made her question what kind of man she'd married, but she stuck by his side, becoming more and more immersed in the dark underbelly of society, reluctantly.
