Them's the rules, ya noob

Hello - I'm just another chronic day dreamer with a love for writing. For a long time, it's been one of my favorite hobbies, almost a kind of therapy for me, to get some of those ideas out of my head and into writing.

All genders are welcome here! When it comes to writing, I do both MxM and FxM and I do prefer if there's a little romance included (IRL my relationship with emotions is messed up, so gotta make up for it somehow, right?). That said, I do prefer writing as a male character (in most cases, at least)

I'm open to a lot of genres, given the plot is good, and while I prefer making unique plots, I don't mind if they're inspired by shows, movies, games etc., but I'm not here to play out something I can go ahead and watch on Netflix.

Writing for me is like painting a picture. I'm greedy for details, thoughts, smells, sounds, feelings, the mood and settings and vibes of it all. I couldn't give you a precise estimate of how long my replies tend to be, but I'd say they're usually at four paragraphs and up. Maybe shorter, mostly longer, idk man, I'm doing enough word counts for school, but some substance is nice, is what I'm trying to say.

I have some rules - maybe boundaries is a better word, I don't really know:

- Darker themes ahead. Please let me know if you have any triggers before we start. The last thing I want to do is ruin anyone's day. I don't have any, except those stated further down.

- You add, you start the conversation. That goes the other way around, obviously.

- I'm not against a little *spicy* content as long as the plot isn't exclusively about going to the bone zone. It adds to the relation in my opinion (and TBQH it's fun at times), but if you're not okay with that, that's completely fine, so don't hesitate to tell me!

- Third person is a must. Same goes for past tense.

- I can't be online all the time, just like everyone else. I gotta pretend like I'm actually reading for school, y'know?

- IRL I'm a private person, and I don't want to share any personal information about me. I do have a discord if you'd want to move the story over there, but I'll only add people I've talked to a little first. I hate cluttered friend lists on every platform, really.

- While I don't want to share personal info, I do want to reiterate that if you ever feel like you need to talk about anything, I'm here for you.

I have some no-no's, too:

- No kids in my inbox, please. I'm in the latter half of my twenties.

- No anime or furries (you do you baby, but let me do me in return lol)

- Absolutely NO age-inappropriate plots, no historically exploitative based plots like serial killers (honestly I'm worried about some of y'all), romanticization of wars and catastrophes and dictators or anything like that - you know the drill. I might not have many limits and I might want to put our characters through hell, but I do have morals, lol.

- Please don't hippity hop into my inbox in-character. Weirds me out, man.

- I don't forget anyone, so even though I might be slow sometimes, I'd appreciate if I didn't get reminders.

ALSO, maybe most importantly, no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or anything along those lines.

Ageism is fine...jk.... or am I?
