Reunion
************While saving Loki from the TVA, Slyvie was informed that they had her Loki. She had decided that she would save both of them. Once safe and out of the TVA this exchanged happened between the Loki variant and Slyvie. @LadyTrickster. Some bits are based off her responses so wanted to give credit where it is due. ******************
The variant followed through the portal made for their escape. Once on the other side he turned around grabbed Slyvie by the throat backing her into a wall. He made a dagger appear and held it against her neck. "You... betrayed me. Was it all just a game to you? Was it worth it? Did your revenge bring you the happiness you thought it would?" His voice was shaky. She had broken his heart. The first love he had and was betrayed. What they had thrown away for what?
Slyvie, conflicted by her feelings and filled with guilt for what she had done to him could only offer an apology. She half expected this reaction from him and would let him have his moment. "It didn't make me feel better and I was a fool. I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry!?" He scoffed at her words. The fact that it did not bring her happiness was bittersweet. He wanted it to be for a reason. He wanted a reason to not be angry. For her to have found some sense of peace. But, no it was for nothing. Meanwhile, he was the one left to pick up the pieces of the heart she shattered.
"I loved you.. and it wasn't enough for you..." He fought back tears.
--"I was selfish and cruel. My life to that point had always been about destroying the tva and and killing kang.. I loved you but I needed closure more... or I thought I did at the time... my whole life had been dedicated to that whole stupid revenge. I... thought it was what I needed." she tried to justify her thought process at the time. But she knew nothing she said would make any of it right. "If you wish to stab me, yell at me, cry at me.. go a head.. if you wish to leave and never see me again.. that's fine too... I deserve it 100%." --(By @ladytrickster)
Tears ran down his face. Pushing the knife into her neck more, but not enough to harm her. It hurt more to hear her say she loved him. It didn't feel like she did. He was far to hurt to trust her words or sentiments towards him. The Trickster had been stuck in a universe not his own only to be used as a pawn in her ever last problems with the TVA. Why was it that he could never catch a break? Perhaps she was his karma for being such a cruel individual to those who had ever loved him. Killing her would not change what happened, how he felt for her, and how nothing she said would make him feel better. He resented loving her. Giving a part of himself to her that he never shared with anyone. Loki eventually let her go moving away. Calming down, he finally spoke.
"And, that is why I won't give you that satisfaction. May you finally find the thing that truly brings you peace and happiness, Slyvie. Like I said, I just want you to be okay.." He then vanished.
