MHA Villain - Kintsugiwara Aoita - The Blood Artis

Name: Kintsugiwara Aoita ((Last, First))

Aliases: Aoita, The Artist, Blood Artist, 'Patient 0'

Age: 22

Birthday: December 20th

Height: 5'2" (Barefoot) - 5'6" (Boots on)

== Appearance Info ==

Eyes: Gold (her left) , Magenta (Her right)

Complexion: Pale, pasty, grey-toned or blue-toned at times.

Build: Unhealthily petite - she's very narrow and boney, particularly in the early canon. (Pre-Overhaul) - She later fills out, remaining on the small side.

Hair: Raven black with grey undertones. Most notably she has a long streak of hair through her fringe and ponytail. This streak is naturally white/grey, but Aoita keeps it coloured an electric blue hue instead.

Clothing: Aoita is notorious for having a lot of skin on show - she frequently wears cage-style bra tops, usually in a latex-type material, coupled with tall, modified leather choker collar. The modification allows for small needles in the back for easier blood access. (Explained later)
She's sometimes seen with a purple cropped bomber jacket overtop, which has several paint and blood stain marks all over it.
On her lower half, she wears an array of colourful belts and chains, over black jeans. One leg is cropped to be short, revealing a fishnet layer, an over-knee sock (black), and then her signature platformed boots, a dulled black and purple glitter colour.

Support gear:
> Tanks
As supplement for her quirk, Aoita usually keeps a store of spare blood on her person. Two storage tanks affix to her bomber jacket via the shoulders, allowing her to carry several litres of spare liquid. These tanks connect directly to the valve in the back of her choker collar, so she can get a constant supply while her quirk is in use, prolonging her ability in a fight. So long as she doesn't burn through it too quickly.

Blood Art

> A blood control quirk. Aoita can control blood from her own wounds, with extreme control. She has a large range, and can bulk out her blood with coloured pigments and paints to create colourful pieces of art that appear to come to life in deadly manners.
This also allows her to lay graffiti traps on walls in urban environments - peeling them off the walls when targets come within range.

The higher the blood content in a piece, the stronger and more control she can have over it's movement.
However, all control must be done consciously, and Aoita needs to be entirely aware of what she's creating, and how it moves in order to keep it in shape.

Once blood is pulled from her body and mixed with pigment, it *cannot* be taken back by her body, which is why she requires support gear to give her extra access to a supply of blood.

Fast Healing

> While Aoita doesn't have immunity to blood loss, she heals quickly from her self-inflicted wounds. Severe wounds that would ordinarily take weeks only take a handful of days.

General Persona: Comedic, Chatty and agreeable. Always ready to have a laugh and a joke, and can come across as a bit of a wild party girl. Prone to flirting, even platonically. A bit of a mom streak when she's in a particularly good mood.

Detailed Persona:
Aoita's history and life events have left her dubiously stable. For the large part she comes across as friendly and outgoing, but it's noted she is /incredibly/ fast to anger, and it takes very little to set her into an aggressive spiral.
These spirals usually don't last a long time, and upon tailing off can leave her emotionally vulnerable. So tread carefully.

Having said that this woman equally has a ditzy side, and is prone to blonde moments when it comes to relatively simply life experiences. Having been robbed of her late teen years and early 20's, she's missing out on a lot of information others will have gotten while growing through those ages. Desperately in need of a bit of guidance at these times, and may look to her comrades for that - or those she trusts to not mock her for a lack of knowledge, anyway.

== History and Trivia ==

Aoita's home life began relatively well. Her mother, Danyu, married to Hiiro when Aoita was barely a year old, and she grew up in Musutafu city comfortably.
At age 6 they had her baby brother, Shunsuke, unexpectedly. And from there on it became clear all Hiiro wanted was a blood-related child of his own.

Aoita was pushed aside in favor of Shunsuke, though her mother made efforts to keep the girl involved and keep her close. The unhealthy life-work balance of her parents ate away at the time she got with them.
She worked hard though and equally adored her brother. And her hard work paid off upon being accepted to UA.

She would only make it 2 years.
In her 3rd year, following an attack from another student, Aoita was expelled with the promise that if she was removed from UA, the student's family wouldn't press charges for manslaughter.

She spiralled downwards from there, trying to help fund her poor family with her artwork, putting her now-trained blood artistry quirk to full use at a local gallery. However her own work was often ignored in favor of her ability to copy popular heroes accurately. With people able to walk around them and interact and have photos.

Aoita's tireless work to please the people eventually cracked her, and her very public breakdown was publicized in the local papers, with several left injured by the explosive control she'd had on her quirk at the moment of melting down.

She would be admitted to a facility up north the same week, after psychiatric evaluation.
Her quirk made her dangerous to keep awake - and so Aoita would spent the next 6 years incarcerated and alone in a sterile room. Kept dosed on a cocktail of drugs that made her barely conscious, unable to move nor truly function, for fear that even the tiniest wound could be used against staff and make her a danger to those caring for her.

A breakout by a more functional inmate allowed her to also escape, with aid, and later make a return to Musutafu. Now a skeletal wreck and withdrawing off the drugs she'd been on for so many years, she was handed over to Giran, and has been put back on her feet, and later introduced to the LOV.

Now she's left to pick up the pieces and deal with her familial trauma - the immense amounts of anger tied to her feelings towards UA as a whole, how poorly her situation was handled, and the abuse at home within her household. But hey - at least she's got a little bunch of weirdos to call family!

== Trivia ==

> Prone to Illness
Years in a sterile room with no real interaction with the outside has left Aoita's immunity compromised. Paired with a quirk that has her consistently ripping huge wounds into her arms and legs... she gets sick constantly, quickly, and *badly*.

> Poor Dietary Habits
Her incarceration has left Aoita's taste for food pretty ruined. The idea of eating actual meals is often too much, and while she's perfectly capable at cooking very good meals, you'd be lucky to have her eat more than a few mouthfuls before giving up. Rich foods, spicy foods, and anything with particularly strong flavors all leave her feeling unwell, and it's taking time to find ways to get around this.

> Eccentric Behaviours
An artist at heart - Aoita's got a passion for expression and vibrant colours, and often uses her quirk to express herself when words and body movements simply don't do her feelings justice. She's playful, loud and sometimes comes off as childish as a result, when the reality is that she simply enjoys having the spotlight.

> Team Mom!
Yeah you heard me. When this girl isn't being some kind of loud brat, she falls rather naturally into a mothering role. She's got skills in the kitchen, decent medical knowledge and first aid, and has a strong sense of protection for those that get along with her.

> Emergency Nurse
When a doctor is nowhere in easy reach - Aoita's previous training as a hero at UA provided her with emergency response skills, including first aid and a fairly detailed knowledge of wound care. This better allows her to deal with her own wounds while healing, but also means she's able to act as a short-notice nurse in emergencies for the LOV, able to care for a wide range of conditions in stead of actual medical professionals in a pinch.
