POWERS.
Alice seems to have some form of telepathy that she has harnessed since she was a small child, even if she wasn’t fully aware of it at first. During childhood, she would frequently invite her brother into her dreams without realizing what she had done. Later, she would create an elaborate world in the astral plane which her brother called ‘Wonderland.’

Though she wouldn’t consider it a ‘power,’ Alice’s blood also could infect people, making them unable to resist their darkest impulses.

HISTORY.
The Tetch family seemed fairly normal from what Alice has been allowed to remember. They came from a long line of wealth, the most notable source being their great-grandfather, Trafford Tetch, who was a renowned neurosurgeon. Their father, Aldis, followed in his footsteps, though he was never quite as revered.

Their father was always busy, but a familiar bond was still there. They were much closer to their mother, Jervis being the fondest of her and the one who took it hardest when the woman fell ill. After she passed, her side of the family became estranged, as they’d never approved of her marriage to Aldis for reasons Alice wasn't privy to.

Their father had been having financial issues for years, which worsened after Carol’s death, as he could no longer borrow money from her family. It all noticeably wore him down until one day, a kiss on a scraped knee made him snap.

Alice has many strange blank spots in her memory, and that day is the largest one. She can’t remember what exactly happened, only that the result was her father's death. And with no other family willing to take them in, the Tetch siblings were separated. Jervis was taken in by Ella Littleton and lived in her boarding house for a few years. Alice spent those same years fostered and then eventually adopted by the Pleasance family until she was whisked away by her brother.

Still fond of her brother, she went willingly and spent the day with him until he revealed what he had done to her adoptive parents. From there, he kept her captive for several years, and what went on during those years she has told no one. When she could finally escape, she ran as far as she could from Gotham and found herself in Metropolis where she’s now living under the name Marion Liddell.
