Strength: 3/10
Speed: 7/10
Stamina: 4/10
Magic: 9/10
Intelligence: 8/10
Strength(s)/Power(s): Because of his family’s enormous wealth and renowned career as excellent wielders of the arcane arts, Cassius managed to read several grimoires from the grand library and learn numerous spells under the vigilant tutelage of his parents. He also has considerable training with thrusting swords, such as rapiers, and thus uses a steel estoc to fend off any enemies until he can prepare a spell or discover some plan of escape. He is rather quick on his feet as well, allowing him to slip away from his opponents if it seems victory is entirely impossible.
Weakness(es): Though he has ferocious spells at his fingertips, he is relatively weak and frail compared to the typical individual. He is capable of using a thrusting sword as previously mentioned, but he is still not that extremely skilled with it and so it is usually meant as a last resort if necessary. Additionally, he may be nimble but he cannot continue running for long and requires frequent breaks to catch his breath. Therefore, if an individual who is talented with a blade or simply brute strength that also has a ton of stamina comes into contact with Cassius, they will more than likely have the advantage until he casts a spell to turn the tide in his favor if that is even possible.

Whenever the young and skilled wizard is not preoccupied with his studies, scribbling new spells into his personal spellbook, he is frequently discovered at the local taverns with his flamboyant aura. He teasingly plays with anybody he meets there, sometimes flirting with people if he finds them attractive yet his narcissistic attitude can immediately result in some individuals leaving his side in search of better company. He has attempted to suppress his obnoxious self-centeredness, however, it has become increasingly difficult with each try. Cassius adores reading in his free time, finding a quiet spot when he can and entertaining himself with a great novel. He also loves watching plays.

On August 13th, the Lenoir family was blessed with their first son. The boy’s proud father, Kareem Lenoir, was absolutely ecstatic as was his joyful mother, Odelia Lenoir, who had been hoping to have a son for their second child. Aveline Lenoir, the boy’s older sister by three years, was grateful to have a new brother to keep her company. The Lenoir family were entirely all tieflings located in the grand port city of Mournstead, a well-known city in the Graeyoth Kingdom which is a land ruled by several noble houses who follow a decently benevolent king. Mournstead was a city in which most tieflings lived in the nasty slums, treated as filth for the infernal blood that courses through their veins, however, the Lenoir family managed to acquire their wealth through hard work serving as the city’s protectors with their incredible magic. Apparently, Kareem’s grandfather had been born as a sorcerer which meant that he naturally could use magic because of his unique blood, and thus the current lord mayor noticed this vast potential. The special tiefling was given status and wealth as long as he kept the marvelous city safe, proving his immense strength when he burned an entire fleet of pirates that ravaged the port city for decades. Thus, the Lenoir family was appreciated for their valiant efforts as long as they continued their occupation though only Kareem’s grandfather was born as a sorcerer while the others had to learn their magic from spellbooks, but they were still rapidly able to use these new spells with relative ease. Therefore, just like his father, the young boy named Cassius Lenoir was forced on the path to follow the family’s footsteps and become a superb wizard.

Though Cassius initially despised being forced down this career path that he did not choose himself, Kareem exposed the wonders of the arcane arts to the boy and he was swiftly enthralled by it. After all, not all magic was used to destroy or protect people, since some spells could be used to trick others or assist in charming others whenever it was necessary. Cassius personally believed that magic could solve any issue and that his loving family would always be there for him. Still, he had vivid imaginations of him traveling around the world and uncovering new things on his remarkable adventures. His sister, Aveline, was trained by their mother to use magic as well though she primarily taught her daughter spells that focused on healing. Nevertheless, Cassius and Aveline would show each other the various spells they have learned, shocking each other with their stunning powers and playing together when they could. They shared an unbreakable bond similar to the strong connection they had with their beloved parents. In all honesty, Cassius could not envision a world where people hated his family, but dark rumors had spread across Mournstead about the Lenoir family. These individuals were humans that were disgusted by the rise of the Lenoir family, believing they should remain in the slums with the rest of their infernal kind. Of course, these were only humans that were merely jealous or simply hated them for their species but certainly nothing terrible could ever begin from those dark emotions – or so it seemed during that peaceful time.

Whenever a terrible plague spread across Graeyoth, some of the humans within Mournstead that utterly loathe tieflings believed their cursed blood had something to do with the horrible illness, publicly claiming that the divine deities were punishing them for associating with the demons. For the first couple of weeks, these humans that spouted this discriminate hatred seemed like bizarre maniacs but eventually more people listened to their cause, desperately searching for a way to end the sickness and so they began to slowly believe that the tieflings were in fact somehow responsible for all of this carnage. Therefore, one awful night, a significant group of humans rioted through the slums of Mournstead and committed violent murders to anybody resembling a tiefling. More than half of the tieflings were horrifically slain by these humans, waking up in the middle of the night to the hateful shouting before these killers burst into their homes and slaughtered them. Hundreds of tieflings lined the bloodstained streets, the rats feasting on their corpses until the guard led by House Ambrose suppressed the riots in which they had to use violence as well in order to quell the gory massacre. However, as the soldiers struggled to stop the riots in the slums, they were unaware of another group that led a riot to the Lenoir mansion that resided in the section of the city where most rich individuals lived.

Kareem Lenoir woke to the sound of the servants frantically begging for the family to flee while they could, wishing to save their masters but some of the servants instead were part of the group that believed that tieflings were the cause of the plague. These servants murdered the others before the Lenoir family in which Kareem wielded ferocious flames that burned down the traitors. However, one of them had unlocked the main entrance as well as the locked iron gate and thus the rioters poured into the mansion in a murderous swarm. Kareem tried to fend them off with his spells, commanding his wife to escape with the children and claimed he would see her soon, yet the swarm of hatred overwhelmed him and he was stabbed an almost uncountable number of times. Still, Odelia Lenoir managed to gather her children and locked themselves in a room. Unfortunately, the wrathful humans discovered them and broke in, slaying the childrens’ mother in front of them before preparing themselves to finish off the Lenoir family. As one went for the kill, the raging emotions of anger and sadness filled Cassius caused him to unleash powerful spells from his eleven years of training that decimated the rioters. Some had survived the attack and noticed that Cassius was weak, charging in to finish off the children but the guards arrived in the nick of time, cutting down the opposing humans before rescuing the tieflings from the burning mansion. With their parents dead, Cassius and Aveline acquired the enormous wealth that their brutally killed parents left behind yet they both did not want it whatsoever. They merely wished for their parents to return, unable to properly understand why these terrible humans committed such heinous acts because they hated tieflings simply because of their blood.

With the Lenoir family's wealth, the children restored the mansion and silently lived together. They could no longer play together, unable to find joy in their lives for several years. Once they were both eighteen, they both had been continuing their studies while Cassius attempted to drown the miserable thoughts that clogged his mind by being surrounded by other people in taverns. He picked up a narcissistic attitude over the years, showing off his magic and stating how unique he was compared to the others in the city, but he knew that he had to get rid of that awful side of him. It was during this particular period of his life that he realized there was only one way to move on from the murder of his parents and that was to relive the childish dream he had that involved him exploring the world. It was a dumb ambition of his yet he yearned to uncover more arcane things about the beautiful world, not resorting to hating humans as Aveline had over the past couple of years. After telling his sister about his new plan to travel the world, to discover new things and go on amazing adventures, she insisted that she would safely remain at the mansion and protect Mournstead like their parents would have wanted them to do. The two argued for what felt like an eternity until Cassius left, deciding he would no longer live in despair like his unfortunate sister was but he knew that the death of his parents would never leave his mind. Still, this was the right step for him and thus began his incredible journey to better himself as a person as well as to discover more about the world that he lived in.
