Bennett

Name: Bennett Lysander Redmond

Nicknames: Ben, Intorelable Rat (by a few specific individuals)

Hair: Brown, with a tuft of lighter colored hair at the front. He’s always joked he got it the first time he shifted into a golden retriever.

Eyes: Dark brown, border on black

Markings/Scars/Tattoos: A plethora of moles and scarring. Animal markings like stripes or color patches also linger from time to time.

Positive Personality Traits: Imaginative, Excitable, Charismatic, Witty

Negative Personality Traits: Egotistical, Cocky, Manipulative, Distractable

Misc. Quirks: Getting onto all fours / sitting in odd places or positions when thinking or stressed. He has mindlessly wandered onto a ceiling more times than he's willing to admit.

Hobbies: Chatting with animals (though some would argue he has a heavy accent), entertaining crowds, drinking, coming up with show ideas, gymnastics, scaring street vendors.

Abilities: Bennett can shift into any living creature he pleases, as long as he has knowledge of their existence and name. Generally, he likes to stick to domestic animals in order to blend into his surroundings - particularly after that one time he learned of the existence of dragons in the middle of a crowded market.

General info:

Look out, for here comes a chaos-prone bombshell. What Bennett lacks in sophisticated intellectualism he makes up for in energy and charisma. He’s been known to seek out the entertainment of others until his joints give out, leaving him in a pained, exhausted rut for a few days. Despite the warnings, the shapeshifter typically can’t wait to go through the process all over again the second he can stand without major internal bleeding. His ‘no rest for the wicked’ mentality stems directly from his years traveling from circus to circus, crowd to crowd, sleazy boss to sleazy boss - unable to resist the adrenaline of thunderous applause, of pushing the boundaries of the human (and inhuman) body despite the consequences. Outside of shows, Bennett is as friendly as he is stubborn. Some (specifically guards) would consider him a bit of an intolerable rat (literally), but that really isn’t Bennet’s problem. It’s just showbiz, baby.
